The road/entrance to Scurragh/Macregol Park will be closed to traffic this evening as well as the lane beside Inver (Spar/Supermacs) to facilitate our event set-up.

❗Access to the Scurragh entrance is for local residents only and for those who need to use our Accessible Parking at Birr Leisure Centre.

Please leave plenty of time to make your way to Birr Rugby Club for the event which starts at 7pm.

Found at the Library in Birr. The staff took the dog in to keep safe from the busy road.
No collar, no microchip. Very clean and in good condition. Obviously a much loved pet.

This very much loved cat aptly named “Cookie” is missing from his home in SCURRAGH Area for a week since 6th.July.
He is neutered but he is a wanderer & likes to go on little adventures.

Please break the cycle of breeding. Get you cats/kittens neutered. Very important for both male and female.
Show you care, give your cats a happier, healthier and hopefully longer life.

This dog seems to have vanished into thin air.

Local vets and rescues have been contacted, sadly no sign of the dog with them.

Last reported sighting at Tesco at 20.40 Sunday 28th May.

Very strange, and we are very concerned for the welfare of the dog. Worried that after weeks of being seen around Riverstown and every day recently seen in Birr by lots of people who kindly reported her whereabouts to myself, the dog warden or the Gards suddenly silence.

If someone has managed to catch her and get her veterinary treatment then well done but please let us know that the dog is safe and being cared for.
