‼️Mama Leila Ali has arrived, found living in a ditch drain in Lamar where she was depleted doing her very best to care for her 5 precious babies. She's 1 year old, 36.8lbs and heartworm positive. 🐾🐾Darlington County Humane Society and 🍺Wild Heart Brewing Company have joined forces to celebrate dogs and cats and the people who love them with the Rescue Brew dog and cat contest! One winning dog and one winning cat will have their image appear on the new release of the 2025 Rescue Brew beer later this year. The Rescue Brew beer is a limited small batch production by Wild Heart Brewing in Hartsville, South Carolina.

One grand prize-winning dog and one grand prize-winning cat will be selected by our judges to appear on the labels of the 2025 Rescue Brew Beer.

🆘️‼️🆘 Dove has arrived from Hartsville, left pregnant, abandoned in this heat. 😔 Though she's better now than where she was, our shelter is no place to give birth. We have no room at our Bridge facility for Dove. We need a foster home or Rescue help ASAP.

🆘Amity is simply amazing. Volunteers love him. Here’s what they have to say…”The Amazing Amity had the most fantastic (or should I say FINTASTIC? 🦈) time during the Petco's Love Me Pick Me! SC adoption event on Saturday! He met many nice people and wanted to go home with each of them. He showed them what a good and happy boy he is and how goofy his personality is (and what a fan of a good butt scratch his is)! He's such a playful pup, spending just as much time entertaining himself with a squeaky bone as he did getting loved on by people. Unfortunately, though he watched as other amazing dogs got to go to their forever after homes, sadly he had to be returned to his kennel. This sweet guy is in desperate need of rescue confirmation, foster or adopter to get him out of his kennel and SOON! He's got so much life and love in him. Please help us give this boy the years he deserves to still have.”

🚐The Darlington Express transport van had another safe journey up I95 and back. Lots of excited goodbyes were said at the Bridge Facility as these lucky dogs loaded up for their rescue ride. Thanks to all who continue to help our dogs, rescue partners, sponsors, volunteers, the rescue team and our wonderful drivers who especially deserve thanks for braving the traffic on I95 southbound.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED‼️ The shelter is crowded, the dogs at Bridge are in hot, outside kennels. Animals continue to come in and space needs to be made. Can you help foster short term? Or foster a dog through heart worm treatment? Or help Gloria, who needs to heal from surgery in a home?
