WELCOME to the Western Carolinas Arabian Horse Association's site. We are all Arabian enthusiasts living primarily in the western and upstate portions of North and South Carolina. We do have members residing in other states as well. Our non-profit organization was formed in the late 1970's by a small group of Arabian owners with a similar interest in breeding and promoting our proud breed of horse

s. We have grown from that small group to approximately 150 adult and 30 youth members. Even though our specific interests vary from endurance, trail, dressage, hunter over fences and even racing, the focus is still on presenting our Arabian horses as a diversified and family oriented horse. WCAHA proudly presents and supports many programs and events throughout the year. Each spring and fall we offer rated Arabian/half Arabian shows at the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Pendleton, SC. We have been at this facility with shows for the past 24 years. Feel free to contact any of our officers, board members or committee chairs to answer your specific questions. Membership is open, and we encourage a diversity of opinions while asking that members try to remain constructive and respectful in their comments.

It is time to start thinking about Scottsdale 2024! Anyone that would like a quote for the show please let me know. Hillary Holman and I are currently accepting training horses in all disciplines, main ring and sport horse. Scottsdale is also the ideal place to market horses for sale. Join us and let's start 2024 off with a bang in Arizona!

Now is the time to RENEW!
Here is why it's important. YOUR membership helps determine delegate rep's, we as a club, have for the AHA Convention. Here is the breakdown:
0-9 Adult Members: 0 Delegates
10-35 Adult Members: 1 Delegate
36-70 Adult Members: 2 Delegates
71-105 Adult Members: 3 Delegates
We have had 2 delegates the past few years. This year convention is in SC. Please join before June 29, and ask a friend to join too!! It is important that you choose the affiliate CLUB membership when you renew/join. Please let us know if we can help in anyway or answer any questions!
