2024. The year I announced Happy Hounds would close. I got married in secret, and then had a proper wedding with my grandad as our ‘officiant’. My HHA rep became my made of honour. My 10 year stalker went to court and made the news, finally coming to an end. My office became full of life again for a photoshoot, and mum has more news of the cancer not spreading further. Adam and I set up our new business and have been seen by 70 million on TikTok. Adam also quit his job to join me. I’ve set zero resolutions for 2025. Just some small goals, like changing our office into a cool garden cabin (who wants to come along for the journey?) and changing our HHA insta account into a personal blog style account. Tell me your favourite memories, where you first heard about Happy Hounds, or your favourite experience/product. I will be keeping this account which holds 8 years of memories, and I’d love to have a post to look back at where our memories and stories are all together. My personal favourites have to be our first ever scavenger hunt back in 2021, where you were travelling to your nearest location where you thought our hidden HHA treasure was hiding, all the way from London to Scotland, followed by our virtual and global treasure hunt in 2022. Meeting you at stalls and dog shows. Blankets nights, selling a record 100 blankets in 4 minutes. Building my garden office after moving offices 5 times in 5 years. Always coming up with new ideas to have fun like golden tickets, mystery boxes and games! My reps and very loyal customers who were always there to support HHA and not to mention, working with so many amazing brands, big and small! Developing market nights as my health condition declined making it too difficult to go to real markets. Whilst closing HHA has been such a hard decision, I know I can look back and all the amazing memories, what’s your favourite?

Happy Hounds may be closing, but it’s not leaving without a huge photoshoot! We’ve had a crew of photographers, videographers and models here today to use the office for a shoot! I feel like I’m starting to at least leave the business on a high 🥹 Ps. Honey was the star of the show so here’s hoping her photos will be used somewhere amazing!

As requested, a few wedding photos for you. We had the absolute BEST day and despite having a few rough years, it was amazing to have a day full of laughter and family. My grandad officiated the wedding and Daisy and Honey had the best day I think they’ve ever had! I want to say thank you for your support over the last week, and for placing what may be your last ever order. I only went and got married!! Adam and I got married earlier in the week after a huge amount of planning, stressing and excitement. Daisy and Honey were with us the whole day and mum even managed a little dance in the evening! After a rollercoaster few years, I finally managed to pull off the best day of my life and I wanted to share it with you.
I’ll be back very soon with a Happy Hounds update, once I’ve got over calling myself a wife, and I’ve ridden through the emotional come down!

Join us on Tuesday the 15th at 7pm. This is one of the hardest posts I have had to share, but the time has come to say goodbye and close our doors. As cheesy as it is to say, it’s been one crazy rollercoaster over the last 8 years with the highest highs and the lowest of lows, and I’ve shared each of those moments with you. You’ve shared the last 8 years with me but the biggest chapter of my life is coming to an end and I’m ready for something new ❤️ Love Ellie, Daisy and Honey x
