We do not use kennels - dogs are placed within our family home to be assessed before looking for their forever home

💓 Lovely visit From Flora today who came to us as a stray from the pound & was adopted last year. Very much a pampered girlie now with besotted pawrents, especially her dad !💓

She is a 3 year old cavachon who has lived with a cat and a dog but would love to be an only dog so she can have her people to herself.
She loves children and will make a great addition to a family looking for a non moulting dog
Be aware she needs regular brushing and trips to the groomers

Little Reggie has been doing so well in the 2 months he has been with us.
His foster family have been taking it easy with him and not pushing him into anything he feels uncomfortable with and he can now be washed , brushed , picked up without throwing a paddy and snapping.
He will need someone dog savvy who will continue putting in boundaries and making him realise that no one is out to get him
He loves a good walk and other dogs
He is a 4 yr old yorkie x poodle

Massive thanks to Sammy who groomed our naughty Reggie today.
Look how handsome he is- looks more like a schnauzer than a yorkiepoo.
He has really improved with his foster family but will still need a new home where they can work on his bad habits.
Anyway we came through the groom still with all our fingers and it only cost me some pastries from Gails!!!

Looking for a foster home for our lovely english pointer Femo while he waits patiently for his forever home
He has been in foster with dogs and we have also cat tested him
He is only 24 kg so not a large dog
He just loves to eat ,sleep and loves walks on his extending lead so he can chase birds

🌈🐶💔 Recently Penny’s family had to say goodbye to her . ‘We were privileged to have her in our family for the last 11 1/2 years. We believe her to be around 18 years old. She was a lovely friend and we miss her so much.’
She was very lucky to find them as her forever family after quite a few homes before she arrived with us Thinking of them at this sad time Run free beautiful Penny.Forever remembered 🌈🐶💔

💔🐶🌈 Dear Dave who was adopted from us in 2019 became unwell over the last few days & deteriorated very quickly . Sadly today his family had to say goodbye. Thinking of them at this very sad time but grateful for the lovely forever home they gave Dave. Run free sweet boy Lots of daisies to smell over the bridge 💔🐶🌈

Janet is another dog still with us in a foster home
She' s just over a year old and is great fun and very affectionate
She loves the dogs in her foster home but can be choosy with dogs when shes out - this is being worked on
Shes as agile as a cat and needs a very secure garden or she'll be off on adventures

Here at HQ we we may have been a little quiet but we have still been busy.
This little 4 yr old yorkiepoo Reggie has been with us for a while as he's got a naughty side to him which involves his teeth and our fingers!
Now he's settled down he's an affectionate happy boy 90 % of the time but if he doesn't want to do something he'll lash out.
A work in progress we think but he's a happy little guy who is affectionate and loves other dogs

🌈🐶💔Sadly beautiful Mabel who joined us in 2019 at 9/10 years has had to say goodbye. Mabel had lived an isolated life with her owner who died leaving her to be poled from the flat where she had been living in terrible conditions for many years.She was fostered at Rovers for months where we began her integration to the world .She did well but was by no means fixed when she was adopted by her lovely family who continued to help her thrive with their dedication & care. Mabel even went on to welcome a human brother to the family !
For 4+ years they have loved & cared for her which we are so grateful for . Thinking of them at this sad time. Run free & fast over the bridge Mabel , all worries gone 🌈🐶💔

How do we still have this fabulous boy with us ?

Femo may be 9 yrs old but is still very active and still thinks he can catch a pidgeon! Got to love a trier!!! Thats English pointers for you!

All he does is eat , snuggles on the sofa and say the WALK word and he's all action

Someone must have a pointer shaped hole in their life - he's a really easy going boy and has been cat tested. Also great with dogs

He's only 23 kg so not massive for his breed

He really bonds to his person and loves to be out and about with them - always checking in with them to see where they are He will make an amazing companion , he'd love adventures and long walks and he is so quick to learn so ongoing training would be perfect for him - he just wants to please

Took Femo the pointer to be cat tested yesterday . He couldn't care less about cats ! Pigeons yes but cats no! This guy still needs a home so please share him - he is literally no trouble at all- so calm indoors just loves snoozing on the sofa

Well Femo is still sprawled out on my sofa instead of in a new home. People - you don't know what your missing with this lovable goof ball. Hes a stunning English pointer and at 9 yrs young he 's looking for his retirement home! Scrap that- he's still full of life and will keep your garden free of pesky pidgeons!

Well Femo certainly enjoyed his secure field run today! We haven't had any interest in this guy and are so surprised. He's 9 years young and really loving being an indoor dog now - loves a cuddle on the sofa! He is a perfect house guest A beautiful example of an English pointer
