Do you have any free time ?

~PROYECTO "PERRO TÍMIDO"~~~ PROJECT "SHY DOG"~
Are you good with dogs? Do you have some spare time and lots of patience?
We are asking for volunteers to help twelve of our dogs who range from a little shy to very shy.
We need foster carers to help change these dogs’ lives and get them ready for adoption. As it stands at the moment, these twelve could possibly end up spending their whole lives at the shelter.
What they need is time spent with humans, something we simply do not have because the day to day practical work is so intense.
Does this project sound like something that could enrich your life?
If so, please get in touch so that you can visit the shelter and meet them.
One thing, the dogs can only go to a home that is very secure where there are no easy escape routes as there is always a chance they would try to do this. Other than that, we are simply looking for people who enjoy being kind to animals and really want to help give them a chance. We are sure this could be something incredibly rewarding for the right people.

¿Eres bueno con los perros? ¿Tienes algo de tiempo libre y mucha paciencia?
Estamos pidiendo voluntarios para ayudar a doce de nuestros perros que van desde un poco hasta muy tímidos.
Necesitamos cuidadores de acogida para ayudar a cambiar la vida de estos perros y prepararlos para la adopción. Tal como están las cosas en este momento, estos doce podrían terminar pasando toda su vida en el refugio.
Lo que necesitan es pasar tiempo con los humanos, algo que nosotros simplemente no tenemos porque el trabajo práctico del día a día es muy intenso.
¿Te parece este proyecto algo que podría enriquecer tu vida?
Si es así, ponte en contacto para que puedas visitar el refugio y conocerlos.
Una cosita importante: los perros solo podrían ir a una casa que sea muy segura donde no haya rutas de escape fáciles, ya que siempre existe la posibilidad de que intenten hacerlo. Aparte de eso, simplemente buscamos personas que disfruten siendo amables con los animales y que realmente quieran ayudar a brindarles mejores oportunidades. Estamos seguros de que esto podría ser algo increíblemente gratificante para las personas adecuadas.

No 6 in the bag half way through this crazy crazy journey I am on.

My oncologist was on holiday and the one who stood in for her did not impress me. He tried to push my session back but thank god for the nurse who fought for me and I had it done today yay.

But I do have an extra weeks break before 7th session.

Home needed

Update** Thank You to everyone who shared for Hunter and we can confirm that today he is safe.

His post has generated thousands of comments and so much interest and we hope that this will help raise awareness of rehoming safely.

Edit Update: URGENTLY LOOKING FOR A HOMECHECKED FOSTER HOME BEFORE FRIDAY

Urgent - Time has literally run out for this young boy and now the only option is euthanasia unless a UK rescue is found or a UK rescue can homecheck and offer RBU.

This is Hunter and this is his story……

“I wonder if you can help us my nana has a 6 year old gsd she rescued him almost 2 years ago from an abusive home etc but over the last 6 months her health has gotten really bad and she needs oxygen constantly she really needs to be in the hospital but she is refusing due to the dog if she goes into hospital we are scared about what will happen to her dog she has asked me to help try rehome him but i am really struggling i have worked with him as much as i can over the last 2 years when ive been going round but he still needs more training hoping you can help us we have rung all different rescue etc and nobody can help we are worried if my nana ends up in hospital and theirs nobody to take the dog we will have no choice to put him to sleep and that is somthing we really dont want to do hoping you can help us”
