| XL bully Luna, just 11 months old, was last seen in the care of Emma Marshall, a prolific backyard breeder previously of Blinkbonny Road in Falkirk, Scotland, but has been passed around various accomplices in recent weeks.
Marshall, who's also known as Emma Woods, is believed to be the subject of an ongoing Scottish SPCA investigation after up to 30 starved and neglected dogs were allegedly recovered from her filthy home in May 2023.
There are shocking claims that sick and injured dogs had been dumped in a freezer to die with the bodies of 11 dogs, including a chow chow, found in there.
Sources say Marshall obtained Luna and litter-mate Misty (since recovered) through striking deals to co-own them with other breeders.
But Marshall hasn’t been seen since May’s raid and has taken multiple dogs with her, it has been claimed.
Misty's owner, Amy Rose, recovered her from a property in Linlithgow, West Lothian, following a tip-off. Sadly, there was no trace of Luna.
Amy told The Sun: “I could see Misty through the window, I burst into tears — the door was open so I just went in to rescue her and I managed to help another one to safety.
“There were another six dogs in there. It was horrendous.
“The place was a dive, the dogs hadn’t been watered or fed and they’d been eating their own poo.
“I took Misty to the vets and she had the worst health score possible regarding weight and skin.
“She can’t even be walked as her pads are too soft and burnt from all of the urine.”
Now Amy has offered a £10,000 reward for Luna's safe return.
Luna told how she had given Luna and Misty to her former friend, Marshall, after she had said she wanted to keep them as pets for her kids.
Amy, who has four other dogs, saw the pups regularly when the friends would go for walks together and dog obedience classes.
But alarm bells rang when Marshall started avoiding her calls and messages asking about their wellbeing.
She added: “She said they had a virus and started making up excuses not to come into her house.”
Heartbroken Amy went to her home and found no-one there.
She said: “That’s when I heard about the raid.”
Another concerned breeder Jen Pitt, from Peterhead, claimed on Facebook: “Dogs were mauled and killed due to lack of food.
“Four dogs were able to walk out of her property in Falkirk, 30 had to be crated due to not being able to walk.”
The Scottish SPCA said a probe was “ongoing”.
