Life with a dog with an attitude can be rough. We love our dogs, and it hurts us when they are grumpy, stressed, and acting aggressively. That's not true!

It can feel like things will never change or that there is no hope. I can help you! This is the place to come for understanding and help with your dog. Whether it’s training or boarding or both, I can help! My training is more than the basic obedience. It also incorporates good manners which is what we all really want. I teach your dog to think and make decisions with good outcomes because they wa

nt to. So they no longer just react. This lack of impulse control is what causes issues like counter surfing, jumping, door dashing, over excitement, anxiety, and other negative behaviors. I do not train with things like pinch or choke collars or shock collars as these things do not teach your dog to do things out of joy but out of fear or avoidance of pain. You can teach your dog to walk nicely with more humane options. I have packages for everything from reactivity (barking and lunging), resource guarding, separation anxiety, basic obedience for both puppies and adult dogs, board & Train packages, Dog socialization, impulse control and more! Not sure what you need a consultation is a great way to get started. I won’t waste your time or money with things that don’t work or are not working for your dog. I am flexible with my training and I have learned many techniques to help dogs of various personalities and issues. From shelter dogs to owned dogs I have worked with 100s of dogs. Don’t wait any longer to get help with your dog, if you aren’t happy, most likely your dog isn’t happy either. let’s work together to make things better between you both and build a better bond that allows you to enjoy your dog. When your dog stays with us there's no guilt about going away on a trip anymore! You can leave your dog in a home with a family where the dogs there aren't scared or stressed. Your dog will sleep on dog beds, play with toys, run through the yard, have regular bathroom breaks, just like at home. Plus with our experience with different dog breeds, personalities and behaviors we know just how to handle your dog's needs. Whether your dog is a social butterfly or a loner we can accommodate him. If your dog needs medicine, no problem we can make sure he gets it. When dogs go home from my place they go home happy, less stressed, and usually pretty tired. My yearly reminder that because we board dogs in our home, we are limited on how many dogs we can have at one time, so space fills up quickly.

Current space as follows, any dates not mentioned means I still have full availability.

Limited space available Jan. 30 to Feb. 8
FULL Feb. 25-28
Limited space available March 7-10
FULL June 7-June 14
Limited space available June 18-24
Limited space available July 2-6
FULL August 15 - Aug 24

Cost to board is $25/day for new clients.
2 Day deposit is required for any non-holiday stay.
50% deposit is required for any holiday stay (any week that is attached to a holiday)
All deposits are non-refundable.

HAPPY UPDATE from my clients

The boys fell asleep on the way home yesterday. We really appreciate all your help with them. Shay & I were both happy we can now get Scout in the car & take him places. We stopped at Arby's when we left the park & they gave the boys chicken. Scout has never been this happy in the car before.

We went from not being able to enjoy Scout like we wanted, to now feeling hopeful & excited to do more things with him.

What leaving my house looks like

John Boy at a shelter event today with me. Most people thought he was sleeping 😴 and it looks like it but he’s working. John Boy loves people and wants to meet everyone but it’s his job to ignore them so he lays down and “rests” but if you watch him closely he will twitch his ears and move his eyes around. Sometimes he does get into a real sleep as he is only a puppy still of 6 months old so he does get tired. He can rest and take a “break” when I’m sitting bc I don’t need him to work during those times but he still can’t socialize with anyone or any animals.
