Our Story
This page is run by 1 Admin only. Starting early 2013 Perth Pets Learning was originally intended for urgent cases of pets needing locating or rehoming. After 5 years running this page as a full time worker and full time anxious pet owner, studying dog behaviour and training on the side. Due to multiple messages for things which this page was not intended for, I have decided I can no longer run this page for urgent cases. As a result I have transformed this page into a pet page to expand your knowledge on important pet matters. Though I aim to keep this minimal, but if you do have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Steps to take if your pet is missing: Call local council/all surrounding councils, local/surrounding/emergency vet clinics, all pounds/pet rescue shelters: Cat Haven, Shenton Park Dog Refuge, Animal Protection Society, etc as your pet may be taken there. Door knock around the neighbourhood (with an adult if you're under 18) Asking dog walkers/postmen/regular park goers if they have seen any pet (Don't give them colour until they tell you information to avoid people making up stories) Visit normal places the pet may go, eg dog parks, and also place flyers/ask around there Place flyers up in your local area with: Date missing Pet's Name Species/Breed Colour Distinguishing Features if micro-chipped, tattooed in ear, if desexed, collar colour , if possible a photo.
