We had a great day at Mystic Valley Hunt Club yesterday! Our horses and riders all brought their A game and it was a beautiful fall day to be outside horse showing!

🍂 Shannon Anderson (Tibbits) and Lb Lismore were reserve champion in the modified adult equitation and champion in the hunters! This duo is so fun to watch and their partnership is so special 🥰

🍂 Zoe Boisclair took Oliver to his first horse show with us and had incredible rides! Zoe and Oliver were 2nd in the CT training hunter under saddle, 1st in the pre-children’s hunter under saddle, and 3rd in the pre-children’s equitation flat! We are so excited for this new partnership! 💯

🍂 Ava Tibbits and Strawberry Shortcake rocked the walk trot classes, earning top ribbons in all 6 classes!! Ava handled Cali’s pony sass with ease 💪🏼

🍂 Callie Webster made her short stirrup debut on Strawberry Shortcake! She proved that her rides were worth the looong wait, and despite showing in the dark she took home 1st in the short stirrup equitation flat, 2nd in the short stirrup eq over fences, and 4th in the short stirrup hunter under saddle! 🏆

We are so beyond excited to announce that Iris has officially joined the OCF family! Many of you know, Iris’ owners Jaime and her mom, Robyn have generously allowed us to lease Iris for the past few years for our program. Today, we officially became her owners and we are so thrilled that she will continue to be loved by us and our students. Iris is a true unicorn and we cannot imagine our farm without her 🥰

Our third IEA show of the season was an all around fantastic day!!

Our high school team placed 3rd with:
🌊 Maddie Pisano placing 2nd in the Varsity Open Flat, and 4th in the Varsity Open over fences!!
🌊 Caroline Grimm was 2nd in her Varsity Intermediate flat and 3rd over fences!
🌊 Sarah Liebman put in a great trip in her Varsity Intermediate over fences and was just short of a ribbon in her flat class!
🌊 Zoe Boisclair was 6th in the Junior Varsity Novice x-rails, and taking home a 4th in the Junior Varsity Novice flat!

Our middle school team was also 3rd today with:
🌊 Mackenzie Webster placing 3rd in her Future Novice x-rails, and 4th on the flat!
🌊 Callie Webster took home 5th in a combined Beginner WTC class!
🌊 Rosie Reinalda took home her first IEA ribbon in 6th place of a large Future Beginner Walk Trot class! We are so proud!!

Cali and Iris joined us in our co-hosting duties and took so many kids to their well deserved ribbons! They are two very special mares. 💙

We had a great day at Next Venture Farm’s Equitation Finals and Show! It was a cold, windy, and rainy New England fall day but our girls made the best of it!

🏆 Ava Tibbits and Strawberry Shortcake took home multiple ribbons in the walk trot hunters and equitation. The pair also ended their season on a high note, taking 2nd in the Walk Trot Equitation Classic and 3rd in the Walk Trot Equitation Final! Amazing job Ava!

🏆 Shannon Anderson (Tibbits) and Lb Lismore ended their finals season with a nice trip in the 2’6” Adult/Junior mini medal classic and a nearly flawless trip in the Final to take home 7th place in a big, competitive class of juniors and adults! We are so proud of the progress this team has made this season!!

🏆 Mackenzie Webster and Orchard Hills Photogenic wrapped up their time together this summer by putting in beautiful rounds! The pair was 3rd in the Short Stirrup Classic and reserve champion in the Short Stirrup Final! Congrats Kenzie, we are so proud of you!

🏆 Zoe Boisclair also wrapped up her season with Orchard Hills Photogenic, with a lovely flat class and 2 beautiful over fences rounds in the long stirrup hunters to claim champion of the division! Zoe and Toby have been champion almost every time out this summer and we are so proud of this pairs development together!

⭐️ a special thank you to Caroline Grimm for braving the elements all day and helping keep our ponies happy and being the best videographer and cheerleader for our riders!

Our first IEA show of the 2024-25 season was a massive success!!

Our highschool team was Champion with:
🌊 Maddie Pisano placing 4th in the Varsity Open Flat and taking the blue ribbon win in the Varsity Open over fences!
🌊 Caroline Grimm placing 4th in her Varsity Intermediate Flat!
🌊 Zoe Boisclair placing 3rd in the Junior Varsity Novice x-rails and taking home the blue ribbon win in her Junior Varsity Novice Flat!

Our middle school team was Reserve Champion with:
🌊 Mackenzie Webster placing 2nd in her Future Novice x-rails!
🌊 Callie Webster, in her IEA debut, taking home a 3rd in the Beginner WTC class!

Our OCF ponies Cali and Chance, came along for the ride and played oh so well, taking multiple kids to their well-deserved ribbons! 💙

✨ Rhode Island Equitation Championships! ✨

⭐ A huge congratulations to Zoe Boisclair and Orchard Hills Photogenic for placing 7th in the SS/LS Championship! What a fun summer it has been watching this pair learn and develop together! We are so proud of Zoe's hard work and determination, and Toby's wonderful personality and performance. What a great end to a successful summer together!!

⭐ Shannon and LB Lismore put in two fabulous trips, with the pair just out of the Championship ribbons by a few points! Shannon and Iris have worked so hard this summer, and their cool-as-a-cucumber attitude carries over into the show ring with their tactful plan and ex*****on of each trip. We look forward to seeing where these two go together!

⭐ Thank you to the Rhode Island Horseman's Association and the Rhode Island Equitation Committee for such a fun weekend, and to Mystic Valley for such a wonderful venue and amazing courses!

⭐ Lastly, a HUGE shout-out to Caroline Grimm for being the best groom and ring side cheerleader for everyone this weekend, and MHJ finals. Your support, kindness, and care for all the OCF horses and humans is unmatched.

Today we said goodbye to a true legend. Our beloved 31-year-old Louisito, the King of Ocean Crest Farm, has crossed the rainbow bridge.
Louis has been a part of the Stoukides family for over 16 years, and his bond with Jess is one that touched all that knew them. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts at OCF, and those that knew Louis throughout his life.
Rest in peace, dear friend. 💙🌊🤍

We kicked off finals season at Fieldstone with the Massachusetts Hunter Jumper finals! It was a looong 14+ hour day for our crew, but everyone rode so well and showed off all that we have been practicing this summer!

🏆 Mackenzie Webster put in a beautiful trip in the Short Stirrup medal final aboard Orchard Hills Photogenic. It has been so fun to watch this pair this summer and we are so proud of Kenzie for qualifying for finals this year!

🏆 Shannon Tibbits proved how versatile and flexible she is by pivoting at the very last minute to catch ride the fabulous Isseo, owned by . The last minute switch did not deter her and she put in a commendable trip in the Adult Mini Medal final. Thank you so much Kim and Avery Herfert for allowing us to borrow Leo for the day ❤️

🏆 Jordan Bradley and her Poppy placed 12th in a very competitive Children’s Pony Medal final. This pair has grown so much over the past few years and it has been a joy to watch!

We are so proud of our riders and horses and thankful for our supportive crew who stuck around all day to cheer our riders on! Next stop, Rhode Island Finals!

⭐️⭐️ Ocean Crest Farm is excited to announce we will have 1 full board stall available October 1st! The ideal client would be someone who wishes to attend shows and clinics with us and be an active part of our fun and supportive community! We offer:
- Professional, insured staff and 2 hunter/jumper trainers
- Fully matted stalls, hot/cold wash stall, bathroom, and laundry in an insulated barn
- All day turnout in large grass fields
- High quality hay and Triple Crown grain products fed
- Indoor arena with dust free sand/fiber footing, dragged daily
- Access to well maintained trails, including a pond for swimming!
- We attend local and rated hunter/jumper shows and have an IEA team!
- 24/7 security camera monitoring
Full board is $925/month and we require a minimum of 1 weekly billable service in the form of lessons and/or training rides.

We had so much fun at our 2nd annual end of summer barn sleepover! Our night was complete with dinner, games, a bonfire, outdoor movie of The Derby Stallion (overall group rating was 2.5/10 😂), and then we had a delicious pancake breakfast this morning followed by games on horseback! Such a fun night with our amazing barn family 🏕️🐴🥰

We wrapped up our final regular show of the season at Next Venture before equitation finals begin! The day was looooong but the weather was beautiful and our kids and ponies were fantastic!

⭐️ Callie Webster was consistent in the elementary hunters on Strawberry Shortcake, with ribbons across the board in all 3 classes! Callie also moved up to her first short stirrup flat classes and was fabulous!

⭐️ Mackenzie Webster and Orchard Hills Photogenic were consistent in the short stirrup equitation with great ribbons!

⭐️ Zoe Boisclair and Orchard Hills Photogenic were reserve champion in the long stirrup hunters and also took home a first and second in the hunter type pet pony classes!

⭐️ Caroline Grimm and The Chancellor also took home a 1st and 2nd in the hunter type pet pony classes!

⭐️ Jordan Bradley and Poppy were 3rd and 6th over fences in a huge children’s equitation division! The pair also took home reserve champion (with a win over fences!) in the 2’6” low children’s hunter division!

Fabulous riding by everyone! We are looking forward to MHJ Finals, RIHA Finals, and NVF Finals before we dive into IEA season! ✨🏆

We had another great day at the Next Venture Farm June show!

🩵 Ava Tibbits and Strawberry Shortcake were consistent in the trot classes, placing 4th in 3 of them and 5th in one! We are so proud of Ava’s progress this season!
🩵 Callie Webster and Strawberry Shortcake got two 6ths and a 7th in a competitive Elementary Hunter division!
🩵 Kenzie Webster rode Orchard Hills Photogenic to two 4ths and a 5th in the short stirrup equitation. Kenzie also rode The Chancellor to champion in the Hunter Type Pet Pony division with a 1st and 2nd!
🩵 Zoe Boisclair and Orchard Hills Photogenic were champion again in the long stirrups hunters, earning two 2nds and a 1st!
🩵 Sarah Liebman made her horse show debut with us, riding The Chancellor to a fabulous 5th place in a very competitive pre-children’s under saddle class!
🩵 Caroline Grimm rode the Bradley’s Van Jager to fabulous ribbons, placing 1st and 4th in the Hunter Type Pet Pony classes and 2nd in a huge pre-children’s under saddle class!
🩵 Shannon Tibbits and Lb Lismore were “one and done” today, winning the RIHA combined adult/junior mini medal class, qualifying for finals!
⭐️ Thank you to super groom Lydia Maskell for all that she does for our horses on show days! She does it all with a smile and a very, very good sense of humor 😂
⭐️ We do not say it enough, but a massive thank you to our our right hand lady, Bri Fitzgerald for tirelessly keeping our home base up and running while we are at horse shows. Our horses and humans thank you endlessly, Bri ❤️

Great riding today ladies! As always, thank you to all of the NVF staff for running such a fabulous show. The attention to detail is unmatched and no one runs a smoother show! We are enjoying a short break before returning to NVF on July 13th!

Our crew had a great show day at Grazing Fields!

💙 Caroline Grimm and Van Jager placed 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the Hunter Pleasure classes!

💙 Zoe Boisclair and Orchard Hills Photogenic had an almost complete clean sweep of the long stirrup equitation and hunter divisions! They were champion in both the hunters and eq!

💙 Maddie Pisano and Lb Lismore were fabulous in the Child/Adult equitation, placing 5th over fences and 8th on the flat in a very competitive group.

💙 Nora Fitzgerald and Lb Lismore played hunter, taking home 3rd and 6th over fences in the Modified Hunters and 8th on the flat!

💙 Jordan Bradley and Poppy placed 3rd and 6th over fences in the Children’s equitation and 6th on the flat!

Our crew continues to show up with great riding and amazing horsemanship and we couldn’t be more proud of the students and horses that make up Ocean Crest. We’re back in the show ring in 6 days at Next Venture Farm!
