Today rescue ponies Buddy, Eddie & Raffles had their annual blood tests. A big thank you to vet Georgia from Anvil Equine Veterinary Clinic for doing such a fab job and making them feel at ease.

We had a great coffee evening last night to re-launch our fundraising initiative for ABC Animal Sanctuary. We learnt all about Bertie the goat from volunteer Suzie Morgan who also showed us some of her hand painted beautiful cards and prints of some of the animals at the sanctuary. Artist Mandy MacKenna also showed us her lovely Christmas animal heart she has designed to help create more funds - I'll be posting separately with a link to buy. We won't be having an evening next month as its too near Christmas so our next one will be 23rd January - more details about that later but if you’d like to join PM me and I’ll add you to the list for invites.

Morning everyone I will be sending out details later today to those of you who are joining us tomorrow night for the re-launch of Cost of a Coffee Club. Its still not too late to join us as Zoom allows 99 people to join! So if you'd like to hear more about the ABC Animal Sanctuary and how it operates, plus hear from a couple of our volunteers about the animals there, then send me a message and I'll send you the links. We will be having a Christmas theme with guest Mandy McKenna from Taste the Colour showing you some of her Christmas decorations and Suzie Morgan with her Christmas cards. We are charging £2.50 for the evening (the cost of a cup of coffee) with every penny going to the Sanctuary. Please invite all your friends who love animals - like all charities its hard at the moment so we thought this would be a great way to help. We are looking to create a growing community of animal lovers giving a little to create a lot. We will be holding this once a month so if you can't make this time we will be meeting again in January.

Hi all - we ( the volunteers) are so fortunate to be able to have the FREEDOM to go and look after the ABC animals - though of course we are obeying the government restrictions etc ( !!?? !!??) - however - money does NOT grow on trees and many of these animals are at the sanctuary because their owners were not able to afford their upkeep - we are doing our best !! Though not allowed to do anything apart from efforts through social media. Sorry if it's annoying but every little bit REALLY DOES HELP. Looking forward to ACTUAL fund raising and social gatherings.. but in the meantime - it will be great to meet you
