She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, given rabies vaccine, negative for FIV/FELV, wormed and flea treated. She is up for adoption at Petsmart in Barbourville, West Virginia and adoption fee is $75 cash. Delta has been with ASAP for almost 2 months now after she was found in Huntington by the city mission at about 12 weeks old. So she is now around 20 weeks old.We had already taken one kitten from that area weeks back so we assume she might be a sibling. She is very sweet and lovable and does not know personal space. She does of course like to play. She has been in Foster with other kittens and loved to play with them and was around the fosters senior dogs. She also has a bad habit of getting under your feet while walking so you have to be careful not to trip on her. Most kittens go through this phase until they figure out not to. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, given rabies vaccine, negative for FIV/FELV, wormed and flea treated. She is up for adoption at Petsmart in Barboursville, West Virginia and her adoption fee is $75 cash. When you adopt from ASAP, you sign a contract agreeing that our cats cannot go outside or live outside and they cannot be declawed. Adopted.

Sweet Blackie and her other fur siblings have recently lost their owner. The owner was a former ASAP volunteer years back. We were asked to help so we have gotten all the animals from her home and now Blackie is looking for her new family. When she was sent to her foster home, we noticed that she did have an injury on her side that has now been treated and healing well with just a little scab left over. She is around four years old and she was raised with senior dogs and senior cats. She is very sweet and lovable and likes attention. She is up for adoption at Petco in Barbourville, West Virginia and her adoption fee is $75 cash. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, given rabies vaccine, negative for FIV/FELV, wormed and flea treated. When you adopt from ASAP, you sign a contract agreeing that our cats cannot go outside or live outside and cannot be declawed. Even though she has lived with other animals, we do recommend that you acclimate slowly to a home with existing pets. This is Jade. We believe she is around three years old and she was found as astray a while back and has been in foster care. She was placed at one of our pet centers where she did not get adopted and they were concerned. She was not doing well. She went back to a foster for a while and now she is at Petsmart and Barboursville, West Virginia. We hope this time she has better luck and we’ll get a home soon. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, given rabies vaccine, negative for FIV/FELV, wormed and flea treated. Her adoption fee is $75 cash. Ebony is a lucky girl that someone found as a stray this past winter. They have fostered her ever since and say she is very sweet and cuddly, and gives kisses. We were contacted last night about this little one. Even though we are full, one of our fosters said she would make room. We believe it is a little boy snd only 6 weeks old. He will be on his way to the vet this morning for evaluation and see what plan we can come up with. As you know we need your help. we could use donations for the vet visit today and we know if not now but in the near future, he will need that eye removed. You can use the donate button below our Venmo account https://www.venmo.com/u/ASAPets or our PayPal account PayPal.me/ASAPadvocates or mail a check to ASAP, PO Box 1621, Huntington, WV, 25717.

Moon came to us when someone reached out that she had had kittens outside their home. Her kittens were about three weeks old when we took them in. Fast-forward and Moon was spayed and fully vetted and put up for adoption at Petsmart in Barboursville. She had been there since July 22 and today she found her forever home. Thank you so much for adopting and happy tails Moon.

Adopted.

Sriracha what caught in a feral colony along with her 2 siblings by Trapper Girls Coalition (their goal is to trap, neuter, and then release.) They hated to put them back out, even though it was obvious they’ve never been touched before, but given that they were kittens they just needed a little time and someone to work with until they trusted people. They reached out to ASAP and we were able to find a foster and now two of them been adopted but now it’s Sriracha‘s turn. Sriracha was the runt and after she was spayed, she developed a hernia. She had to go back for a second surgery and it took her some time to bounce back. she is now feeling great and looking for a family. She still is shy and will need time to get used to new people and places so please be patient. She was in a foster home with dogs and ignored them, but she loved playing with their cats. She would love to be adopted to a home with another kitty cat that would like to also play with her. But we do recommend to acclimate slowly to homes with existing pets and here is a link will guide you through that process. https://www.pawschicago.org/news-resources/all-about-cats/getting-started-a-guide-for-bringing-home-a-new-cat/introducing-a-new-cat-into-your-household She is now around 13 weeks old and she has been spayed, up-to-date on shots, given rabies vaccine, negative for FIV/FELV, wormed and flea treated. UPDATE….. people have asked for our Amazon wishlist and here it is. Mostly what we need is wet kitten food, dry kitten, food, cat litter, and powdered formula. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/Z198HGLT99J8?ref_=wl_share&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1XF5ehTG8siZUJk0VDQxm-dJDRI3DZMPavE95uGMAikNXSJ5kN4RAY1VU_aem_jMliuwztksDDpdn7TpOfgQ

kittens and mama are surprisingly doing very well. With quick action of their foster parents they were picked up immediately, bathed in warm water to get their body temperature up and get the fleas and oil off of them dried extremely well they were put under a heat lamp and heating pads and administer some sugar water . They had to be syringe fed for a while. They were immediately wormed and by that evening they were nursing on mama. Thank you to our experienced Foster because they just saved lives.

We were just contact by Petco that someone just dumped this mama cat and her the babies at their store. They say they are wet with some type of sticky substance. They’re really not sure what it is. They have taken them in and have a heat lamp on them to get those tiny babies warmed back up because kittens cannot hold their body temperature and they are cold to the touch. Luckily we were able to find a foster quickly, but here is where you come in. They are in pretty rough shape so at this point we’re not sure what they’re going to need, but we do know we need lots of kitten food, wet and dry to feed momma until her babies are weaned. Also funds for vaccine wormer flea treatment for mom also tapewormer and litter. So if you can donate, it would be greatly appreciated. You can use the donate button below or our Venmo account https://www.venmo.com/u/ASAPets or our PayPal account PayPal.me/ASAPadvocates at or you can mail a check to ASAP, PO Box 1621, Huntington, WV 25717. Thank you for your continued support and please, even if you have strays in your area if you can catch them and spay and neuter them, this would be happening 5 lives

Spice was at Petco less than 24 hours before she was adopted. 💕💕💕
The father in this photo told me that his daughter had been wanting a kitten, but had been told no for quite some time. So today was the day he thought she should have one. He took her out for a milkshake and then told him he wanted to run an errand so he took her to Petco and surprised her with her new little girl. We love stories like this and we are so happy for this young lady to have her first kitten ever. Happy tails Spice Girl.

Adopted. 💕

A little bit of spice and a little bit of cuddle, all rolled up into one. Spice was found all alone in a bush when she was only four weeks old. She was taken in to a foster home where she has remained for the last eight weeks. She is now 12 weeks old and looking for her forever family. She did well with the Foster’s cats and dogs and loved to play with them. Once she gets tired, she will cuddle up with you and take a nap. She is now spayed, up-to-date on shots, given rabies vaccine, negative for FIV/FELV, wormed and flea treated. She is up for adoption at Petco in Barboursville, West Virginia and her adoption fee is $75 cash. It is so disappointing that this year has been extremely overwhelming with how many pregnant stray cats are found outside with babies. And here we are again. A family went on vacation for a week and when they came back yesterday, they had found a stray cat had had four kittens up in the soffit of their home. She was smart enough to have them up there because there is an outdoor cat at their home that does not like other cats so she made her way to a space that he would not bother them. So these good Samaritans have taken mama cat in along with her four little nuggets to foster, so we could use donations for mamas food and litter, vaccines, wormer, and flea treatment. Eventually, these babies will be eating and then we will be needing more kitten food and eventually wormed vaccinated and flea treated. When they are old enough, they will be spay and neuter and put up for adoption. Of course, that will be at least three months from now so if you would like to help our cause, you can use the donate button below our Venmo account at https://www.venmo.com/u/ASAPets our PayPal account at PayPal.me/ASAPadvocates or mail a check to ASAP, PO Box 1621, Huntington, WV 25717. Thank you for your continued support and remember to please spay and neuter.

Ray Ann is a sweet seven-year-old torti that came from a home that was overwhelmed with unaltered cats and kittens. Unfortunately, she’s probably had several litters but no more babies for her. she is very sweet and loves attention once she trust you. She is up for adoption at Pet Supplies Plus in Barbourville, West Virginia in the old Pier 1 building by the Huntington mall and her adoption fee is $75 cash.
She is now spayed, up-to-date on shots, given rabies vaccine, negative for FIV/FELV, wormed and flea treated. Summer is a beautiful green eyed Torti that we estimated to be around five years old. She came from a home that was overrun with unaltered cats and kittens and they kept having cats and kittens. We were able to get her and another out of that home where they would not have any more babies. she is very sweet once she gets to know you and demands being petted.
