Glad Dogs Nation We are a pet toy company with a social mission. 100% of profits donated to support animal welfare.
(55)

We “rescue” children’s stuffed animals that are no longer wanted. We work with various volunteers and groups to “rehabilitate” the toys by removing hazardous elements and replacing them with soft pieces and adding at least 1 squeaker inside. Then we “rehome” these pet-friendly toys at a fraction of the price charged by pet stores, turning mad dogs into glad dogs across the nation! Best of all, we

spread the GLADness by donating 100% of the profits to Glad Dogs Foundation which funds initiatives to stem pet overpopulation, provide food and medical care to people who can’t afford these basics for their dogs, and support other innovative programs.

Another happy pup is enjoying a raised cot thanks to the donation we received from Live Like Noah! If you saw our previous post about this initiative you know what a joy it is for Noah's family to see animals in need "getting up off the floor" thanks to the raised cots.

This adorable pup is Kojak. He is in the care of One Step Closer Animal Rescue OSCAR in Sparta, NJ. He is loving his new bed. We all hope he soon has a new life with a loving family!

In June we received a very generous donation from a family who had recently lost their 17 year old son, Noah, to a car accident. Despite their devastating pain they decided to honor him with the "Live Like Noah" campaign by making donations to organizations they knew Noah would love. Glad Dogs was one of the recipients.

We used the funds to purchase 15 custom-printed raised cots to donate to shelters and rescues in need. The cots were sent to organizations in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

Photos are still coming in of the beds in use but we couldn't wait to share with you these pix of the happy dogs.

We are thrilled to announce that we achieved our goal to provide support to 200 organizations in 2024. Rest assured, we're not stopping now!

Free toys and needed supplies are being prepared so we can help even more underserved shelters and rescues turn sad dogs (and cats) into glad dogs (and cats)!

You make it possible thanks to your donations and purchases. 100% of profits are donated to Glad Dogs Foundation, our 501c3 non-profit.

We love helping organizations like AAVA raise funds for their missions. We donate gift cards that organizations can use for their silent auctions or raffles. The cards are always attached to one of our upcycled toys. It's a fun way to educate about animal welfare and reuse.

We are proud to partner with Glad Dogs Nation for this year's Veterinary Clinic 7th Annual Anything Over Rice Cook-Off! 🎉

We invite all families with children to stop by our booth and take part in our Children's Raffle Game for a chance to win one of their amazing upcycled pet toys! Glad Dogs Foundation transforms unwanted stuffed animals into safe, fun toys for pets, all while supporting animal welfare causes.

It's a great opportunity for kids to learn about this innovative organization and possibly take home a special prize! Don’t miss out—come see us on October 12 from 10 AM to 4 PM at 1101 W Port St, Abbeville.

SoCo Rescue received all the donations collected from supporters in PA and NJ. The driver traveled 12 hours from NJ to GA to deliver it all. You have to see everything they received.

It's so heartwarming to know we can all come together in times of crisis to help those impacted.

As you might imagine, animal welfare organizations are reeling from Helene's unprecedented devastation. Our hearts go out to those who have lost so much -- family members, friends, homes.

We learned SoCo Rescue in Georgia was hit hard. A silo on the property was used to kennel dogs. All the dogs were moved out of there and into the rescue founder's home before Helene arrived. Then the winds took the silo to the ground. And that's just part of it. They have no running water, electricity, or generators, and little food for the dogs and themselves.

SoCo has foster home support in NJ so they put out a call to fill a huge truck they are driving to the rescue. They requested very specific items and couldn't take things that weren't needed RIGHT NOW. Call this Phase 1 of recovery.

We provided 3 big wire crates, water, 100 lbs. of dog food, paper towels, shelf-stable human food, and duct tape. We dropped it all off yesterday morning and the truck rolled out this morning with all the donations.

More to come as we see what is needed in Phase 2.

We have another happy adoption story from Cape Coral Animal Shelter & Veterinary Clinic, a recent recipient of Glad Dogs Nation toys.

Kayak came in with his litter from a farm in the area. A good samaritan rescued the puppies after their mother died and Cape Coral agreed to take them in. They were in rough shape and were put in a precautionary quarantine until they could be examined for anything potentially life threatening. Despite losing their mom so soon after birth, they were in good health! The whole litter was spayed/neutered and put up for adoption.

Here's a great photo of Kayak and his new family -- and his Glad Dogs Nation toy!
