Mila: 2 year old female
If you’re looking for a sweet and affectionate lap cat who rolls over to greet you and expects a belly rub, yes, you read that right... then Mila is your girl!
Mila was surrendered to a shelter when her owner was no longer able to take care of her. As Mila’s foster, she’s been nothing but a joyful little companion. She is mild mannered and gently speaks to you requesting attention, wants to be where you are and her favorite spot is your lap. Milo is also content observing your actions perched high in a cat tree. She’ll warm your heart with her sweet, funny ways. Feather wands and electronic toys are hits and she absolutely loves catnip. Bird and squirrel watching from the window or viewing videos for cats are leisurely activities.
Interactions with the two very cat friendly resident senior Poodles (Toy and Standard) have been nothing but curious. She does need to be the only cat
Mila would be best suited in a family home with older respectful children who would provide the interaction and companionship she needs.
Mila has perfect litter box manners and uses scratching posts. She eats canned and dry food. She doesn’t mind being picked up, put into a carrier, being brushed or even a nail trim. She has all her claws, weighs 10 lbs., is spayed, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped and is ready to go to her indoor only forever home.

Ash, the kitten who got his leg caught in the chair
Best Christmas gift ever
Thanks to all who donated and to the foster who never gave up
Update: First thanks to all who donated to help Ash. He has started to wrap his toes and claws around people’s fingers. He has also started to walk on some of his knuckles. Hope this means he is on the road to a complete recovery
For Giving Tuesday we are wanting to raise $2000 for Ash’s initial and continued care. Please read his story
Due to your generosity we have raised $1200 so far.

⭐️ASSISTANCE NEEDED⭐️
This is Ash he is my 10 wk old foster kitten. He has had a go of it since the day he took his first breath. Most of the litter died due to deformities and such likely because of bad breeding and inbreeding. In the beginning vets thought the kindest solution was to euthanize him, rescue opted to give him a chance. We have worked hard with him to help him be mobile and get around as normal as possible. It's been weeks of exercise, visits to the vet and specialists at UGA and we were doing really well running and playing, but sometime over the night he broke out of his kitten enclosure and managed to get his arm stuck in the back of a metal chair. When I found him this morning, we had to pry the chair back open to get his leg out. We went immediately to the ER. Ash spent 9 hours at the vet today. Poor little guy. We were lucky that his xrays showed no fractures just soft tissue injuries. We are hopeful his leg will heal with rest and he will be able to use it. The rescue I am fostering for, Great Lakes Bengal Rescue , has really stepped up for this litter and Ash in particular and has provided any care that has been needed. This one trip to the ER cost $1,881.74. This is a significant expense for any rescue. If anyone has the capacity to help out our little Ash please make donations to [email protected] no amount is too small. Send Ash all your possitive energies. ❤️
He receives daily treatmemt//therapy to that leg which costs $$$. He may need tohave his leg removed and still n
