We had a lovely day and Willow was adopted through our posts.

Blue Bundu Brigade along with the support of Route 81 Durban motorcycle club who hosted a bike for paws meet and greet.

BLUFF, KZN, SA

Nala and Storm need homes before the end of November.

Nala is a 7yr old spay female Border Collie X. She's a total ball of energy. She loves running around and walks on the walls like a trapeze artist which is such a show to watch. She also loves her daily swims especially during hot days. She's been a good big sister to Stormy and always takes the lead in chasing the monkeys when they come around.

Stormy is a 5yrs old female Labrador X. When we got her she was the last of her litter as all of her siblings were all taken leaving her all alone.

Storm and Nala get along like a house on fire as Nala is the only other dog she's really has interaction with. She doesn't climb walls and doesn't really like swims but she's always keen to do a bit of monkey chasing. She's very affectionate and loves to be rubbed and hugged. Like most doggies, treat time is her ultimate favorite

Nala and Stormy has been part of our family for the last 7 years. Leaving them behind is definitely the hardest part of immigrating. They have brought so much joy and good memories to our family and we hope they will find a good family that would take both of them so they can stay together or 2 families that will love them as much as we do.

Storm and Nala’s vaccinations are up to date.
They are both microchipped. Storm will need to be sterilised on adoption.

OUR HEARTS ARE TRULY HEARTSORE FOR THIS GIRL

URGENT HOME NEEDED

Cuddles is a 12 year old girl who has sadly first lost her hooman dad last year and now her hooman mom.

We are looking for an elderly or retired person who would like to have a dog as a companion, but cannot afford the adoption fee.

We will waiver our adoption fee, however home checks and adoption process will be actioned.

Cuddles needs a home as an only dog or perhaps with a dog around her age or slightly younger.

She did go to Silver Paws, however didn’t cope well due to the number of dogs they currently have.

Cuddles is sterilised and vaccinated. She is blind in the one eye and has a cataract forming in the other. As you can see in the video, she is full of life and has sense of direction.

People need to understand, taking on a senior dog does mean that dog isn’t perfect!
As we all get old, we go deaf, our sight deteriorates, we get arthritis therefore preventing us from been active as before. The same happens in dogs.
Cuddles has much life in her and so much love to give.

Her only hooman relative is out from the UK winding up the estate etc and doesn’t want to consider putting Cuddles down for convenience. She would like to find a home where she can live her remaining years.

I am a Labrador X, female and about 6-7 years old.

I was unwanted by my previous family and I have been with BBB for over 730 days.
Despite being networked numerous times, we had one application BBB was not entirely happy with so I remain unwanted!

People say they don’t want to adopt me because I am too old and I’m too black.

Quite honestly that’s furtherest from the truth as this is the way I’ve been created and I’m simply just me.

I am well socialised with other dogs, but I have not been exposed to cats. I am good with children and I love people.

I am simply just looking for a retirement home where I will be loved cared for and be in a secure surrounding and I can love you back.

Our beautiful pups came to us at 8 weeks old. They are now close on 51/2 months old and looking for their forever home.

Each has a unique personality, incredibly lovable and well socialised. Not exposed to cats.

Nugget and Tuffy are males and Izzy is a female.

Little Amanda is doing very well. She has been vaccinated and the vet is happy with her progress. She is gain weight nicely.

We have received an application for her, but Amanda needs to be cleared out of isolation first.

Rocco (male) 2,5 years old and Leaha (female) 2 years old are little Yorkshire dogs who have been surrendered to us due to difficult times.

They are needing to be homed together.

We have completed the Checkers Little Shop goes Xtra collectors case so we can now raffle it for funds.

Special thanks to Anke Radtke for donating the collectors case with most of the minis and to Tarryn Pape’ for completing the set with the trolley. You guys are amazing 😊

KNOCKOUT FOR PAWS

As some of you may be aware, our vet has made a proposal regarding our R80 000,00 vet bill.
We need to fundraise and raise R40 000,00
by the 30 November 2024 and the balance of our debt will be written off.

SO WE ARE DOING ANOTHER BARNYARD EVENT AND WE CAN PERSONALLY VOUCH THAT THIS SHOW IS OUTSTANDING AS WE DID A FUNDRAISER AT THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER.

We have booked 200 seats for a time spent with family, friends and supporters to enjoy music from FOREVER LEGENDS, a tribute to the great late legends.

Here is a good opportunity to treat yourself and support animal rescue!

Bring along a packed picnic basket or simply order your food from the Barnyard.
This can be ordered prior to the event. Ask for more details.
No beverages/ alcohol allowed. You can purchase your drinks from the Barnyard.

There will be some awesome prizes to win and the draw will take place after the show. Raffle tickets are R10,00 each and can be purchased prior to the show and during interval. Please note cash of card is available.

This precious baby was found in Marine Drive absolutely terrified.

Today has been profound!

As many of you know, we have a wonderful opportunity to clear our vet bill of R80 000,00, however we need to pay R40 000,00 in by the 30 Novemeber 2024.

To date of Friday 1st November 2024, an amount of R8000,00 had been paid into our vet bill.

At this point, we would like to say a huge thank you to those who have paid into our vet bill. All those who pay R100 or more will put placed into a lucky draw to win a weekend away to the Drakensburg.

On Saturday we raised about R1200,00.

We sold our Defy fridge for R2500,00

Today, we have sold so many Checkers minis. Our last count was just over R1000,00, however minis were still awaiting payments to come through.

So to date, we have raised R12500,00!

We now need R27500,00 to raise…..

We would like to thank our supporters who have donated another two pink trolleys and lots of Checkers minis. We greatly appreciate your support.
