Be-Paws We Care, Inc. (BPWC) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Create a food bank for these colonies.

(BPWC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization provides low cost spay and neuter assistance to Pickens County, GEORGIA residents and their pets as well as to caretakers of feral cat colonies. As an Animal Advocacy Group, we provide support to Pickens County, GA by working with our county animal shelter to subsidize medical support for our homeless dogs and cats, networking with animal rescue group

s to find permanent homes for our adoptable homeless dogs and cats, offering low cost spay and neuter assistance to our county residents’ pets and expanding our trap-neuter-return program for our feral cat communities to help reduce the unplanned, unwanted, homeless pet population. GOALS FOR 2021

Continue to build our relationships with other rescues to increase our network to help facilitate rehoming of our homeless pets. Increase SNIP participants, outreach program and develop an awareness program of the benefits of SNIP. Develop PCCP to assist those with residential and feral colonies that need to be Trapped Neutered and Returned (TNR) make Spay / Neuter services available. Create caretaking teams for the community cat colonies. Extract the kittens to be socialized and subsequently adopted. LONG TERM GOALS

Fewer homeless and abandoned animals at our shelter

Spay & Neuter for all companion Animals

Public Education and Awareness, Responsible Pet Ownership

READY FOR ADOPTION
Peaches is a female with ginger patches on her pretty white coat born in approximately May of 2024. She was rescued by BCAR along with her litter of five kittens. Though very young for motherhood, she proved to be a good and attentive mom to her little family…all are thriving beautifully! With her sweet and loving demeanor, she will be a perfect family member in her forever home. Peaches has been spayed, microchipped and her vaccines are up-to-date. MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR OUR END THE CYCLE - Low Cost Spay/Neuter Certificate Sale for CATS ONLY. This is a special event specifically to help those with moms and kittens that are 3 to 6 months old. Let’s END THE CYCLE!

Please let your PICKENS COUNTY, GEORGIA friends and family know that are in NEED of a low-cost option.

WHERE: TRACTOR SUPPLY, 294 EAST CHURCH STR. Jasper GA
WHEN: Saturday June 28, 2025 from 9 to 11:00 am.

You must be a Pickens County, Georgia resident. Certificates are $20 for Adult cats and $10 for Kittens that are 3 to 6 months old. They must be at least 2 lbs.

THE CERTIFICATE IS FOR THE SPAY/NEUTER SURGERY ONLY. Be-Paws We Care subsidizes these surgeries through the generous donations from YOU, our sponsors, fundraising and grants!

Rabies Vaccinations, post op meds and e-collar are the responsibility of the Pet owner. These are offered at a discounted rate by the vet clinic to BPWC certificate holders.

LIMITED CERTIFICATES AVAILABLE (30) – First Come, First Served

Certificates issued at the June 28th certificate sale will then be accepted only at the dedicated clinic on July 10th 2025 at “All the Fixin’s” , 310 Gilmer Ferry Hwy, Ball Ground GA.

These five adorable kittens will be at Maggie’s House (BCAR’s feline shelter) during open house this Saturday, June 21, 11:00a-2:00p.
