Did you get a pet for Christmas 🎁?

The 3-3-3 Timeline
First 3 Days (😵‍💫Overwhelmed):
⭐What to expect: Your new dog may be scared, shut down, hide, or not eat much, feeling overwhelmed by the new sights, sounds, and smells.
⭐What to do: Keep things quiet, calm, and predictable. Give them space, a safe spot (like a crate or quiet room), and don't force interactions.

First 3 Weeks (Learning the 🐕‍🦺 Routine):
⭐What to expect: They start learning your household's schedule, building comfort, and their true personality (good or bad) begins to emerge.
⭐What to do: Establish consistent routines for feeding, walks, and potty breaks. Start basic training with positive reinforcement.

First 3 Months (Feeling at 🏠Home):
⭐What to expect: The dog feels secure, trusts you, and is fully integrated into the family, showing their real, relaxed self.
⭐What to do: Continue training, introduce new experiences gradually (parks, new people), and strengthen your bond.

⏱️Give this cat or dog the time and patience they deserve!!
