Tis a very (very) sad thing to see, the deformities & the tiny bodies' inablity to survive them. 💔

SNIP, SNIP! ✂️

Today, Feb. 28, is World Spay Day. Here are some good reasons to get your pets neutered.

28/02/2025

Most people don’t know the best time to spay/neuter their cat. And many more don’t know that kittens can go into heat when they are just four months old. That means the best time to spay/neuter is before five months of age.

All 103 (48 dogs and 55 cats) pets that received a low cost spay neuter certificate on 2-8-25 have all received their surgery as of February 25, 2025, ! All now are officially members of the NO MORE LITTERS CLUB! Thank you to all the parents of these pets for giving them a life going forward that will be free of unwanted, unplanned litters!

Be-Paws We Care (BPWC) as we did last year plans on doing these certificate sales quarterly. BPWC for this quarter subsidized these surgeries for $7941. Next Certificate sale scheduled is May 17th.

This program is only possible because of the money we raise through fundraisers, outside grants and from generous donations from supporters like YOU! We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, animal advocacy group that it's sole mission is to raise funds to provide access to affordable spay/neuter surgery for those in NEED. All donations are tax deductible.

We would like to thank All the Fixins for partnering with us to support SNIP – Spay/Neuter Initiative Pickens. Their team has been so supportive of our efforts!

Also thank you to all of the BPWC Volunteers that help at the certificate sales and are there at each clinic to help make intake go as smoothly as possible!

The truth about "free kittens", they still require proper vet care including their spay/neuter to prevent unwanted litters and behavioral issues!

A great reminder from TNR Works!
