Frida, a very special little girl, and the power of THERA Wellness Pet Therapy
"One afternoon we got a message that a dog was inside a supermarket in very bad shape and leaving blood stains on the floor. She had come in from the street, the poor thing took shelter there asking for help.
We immediately picked her up and took her to my house. She had wounds all over her body and bald patches from mange. After taking her several times to the vet and giving her the right meds the mange disappeared. The wounds on her body had healed, but she kept scratching her face, to the point of breaking the skin in minutes.
We went back to the vets for more tests, who confirmed again that the mange was completely gone and that this was possibly an allergy, so they changed her diet. They gave her corticosteroids and antibiotics, but nothing worked. We tried two different vet clinics and neither one was able to resolve this.
For several months of trying diets and drugs that were not doing her any good, when I had become most desperate a good friend mentioned Charlie and her THERA WELLNESS therapy. I immediately contacted her and she quickly started to give me hope again. She explained that with the device she uses, she can help find the allergies and then eliminate them. Her commitment to helping Frida and her genuine concern gave me hope.
I had never heard of this treatment but Frida started to improve surprisingly quickly. In a short time, I noticed improvements. What a joy to see how the wounds were healing, that Frida didn't have that frustrating itch and burn that made her scratch her face til it bled. Finally hair started growing in the affected area... my Frida was now beautiful!

Autoimmune Encephalitis and THERA WELLNESS Pet Therapy :
The Story of Akila

This beautiful 10 month old Weimaraner, Akila came for an initial consultation after her owner had been to specialists who had diagnosed her with Autoimmune Encephalitis of unknown origin. She was told that the condition was progressive and incurable, and except for symptomatic treatment which would not stop the progression, could only advise she be put to sleep to avoid further suffering.
Akila’s legs were uncoordinated and her front legs would buckle under her. On touching her, her head radiated heat. She could no longer go for walks as she would fall on her face repeatedly.
The owner at this point made what is undoubtedly the most agonizing decision any pet owner ever has to make and made an appointment the following week to have Akila put to sleep.
That evening, a friend who had heard about THERA WELLNESS Pet Therapy urged her to call and make an appointment to see me. I saw Akila the next day, 3 days before she was to be put to sleep.
I explained that with THERA WELLNESS Pet Therapy we look for the causes and then treat accordingly. My growing suspicion was that this had happened because of a vaccination given months before.
I spoke with a veterinarian who uses the same technology in her practice, and she agreed this was undoubtedly the case...And so we began her therapy.
Akila started showing discrete improvements a few days later, and as the treatments progressed, so did she.
We gently started supporting her elimination organs so that she could effectively eliminate the toxins and virus from the vaccination. We also helped reduce the chronic brain inflammation she had which was why her head was always hot to the touch!
Over the next few sessions, Akila’s head began to remain cool, the coordination of her legs improved, she was able to lower her head to pick something up with her mouth without her front legs collapsing, and in general seemed to be much happier.
3 weeks and 4 treatments later, Akila visited her vet today for her checkup and her blood tests came back all clear. She will have one more THERA WELLNESS treatment and will continue to be weaned off the corticosteroids she had been taking for inflammation.
Akila is back to taking walks with her owner, and playing with the toys she hardly had a chance to play with when she was so ill...Catching up, as it were!

Elvira and I would like to thank Risa Simon and her wonderful volunteers for welcoming us this morning into Risa's amazing home and sanctuary for senior dogs and cats, Leashes End.
Yes, amazing is the only way to describe this happy, safe sanctuary for the most deserving of our care and affection, our homeless little seniors who now enjoy a loving, caring home environment where all their needs, both emotional and physical, are taken care of.
Of course, to do this, there are many expenses including food, bedding, veterinary care etc., and therefore all donations are most gratefully accepted!

COCO’S RECOVERY FROM CANINE EPILEPSY
A few years ago, little Coco began having episodes of epilepsy and the vets ruled out several possible causes.
One day her family heard about THERA WELLNESS Pet Therapy.
With this method, we can test to find the possible causes of diseases such as canine idiopathic epilepsy, and then carry out a totally individualized treatment for each animal.
In Coco's case, tests were done for food allergens and other potential burdens to the body.

Cat diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease and Small Cell Lymphoma
Nessie is my 5 year- old awesome male cat. Several months ago he started to throw up and have a soft poo. The vet carried out tests, including colonoscopy and endoscopy and he was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease/small cells Lymphoma. By the time we got the results, I had changed his food to hypoallergenic because of the IBD, and he was doing better, but was still throwing up occasionally. I contacted Charlie and told her what was going on. As usual, she offered to help right away, and so we started Nessie on THERA WELLNESS Pet Therapy. He got better and the issues stopped. One month ago, he had an episode of throwing up, I contacted Charlie and Nessie received a “top-up” treatment.
