Ginger & Kimchi have been best buds since Jan 2013. Ginger, 12.5 y/o, serves as the guide dog of tot A guide dog for a blind dog. They are truly soul siblings.

Kimchi and Ginger have been CARA AmbassaDOGs for 3 years and are often brought along to pet events, and on school and company visits. Both are senior dogs, Ginger is an 11-year-old Golden Retriever mix, and Kimchi is a King Charles Spaniel estimated to be between 9 and 12 years old. Ginger wasn't properly socialized as a puppy so she doesn't get along with other dogs. She growled and bared her tee

th at the other dogs that Thea and Eric wanted to adopt. But it was different with Kimchi and she took a liking to him almost immediately. Because Kimchi is blind, Ginger is leashed to him and acts as his service dog, often steering him away from obstacles and danger. Their relationship is unique, and as far as we know, the only one of its kind in the Philippines. T-Bone is an AmbassaDOG-in-Training. The 3-year-old Golden Retriever was given up for adoption in late 2015 because his owner was moving abroad. His case is all too familiar as many dogs and cats are abandoned this way. Often, adult pedigreed dogs or cats are sold to the highest bidder when the owner can no longer continue caring for them. It was good that T-Bone’s previous owner looked for a suitable home for free adoption, instead of trying to get the most money for him.

Many many thanks for the overwhelming support and donation Powercat Philippines Official for the 100 sacks of 10kg of cat food from my hubby and I, Cats of Araneta City, Cats of Legaspi Village, Cats of CGS, Cats of Technohub, Cats Of Eton Centris & Cats of Maginhawa and KNL.

I'm happy to report that we have 5 sacks left which will go to a designated cat feeder. The cats are very happy and have been enjoying the food.

No amount of time with a beloved pet ever feels like it's truly sufficient. Ginger graced us with nearly 13 years, and Kimchi blessed us for about 15-16 years before they journeyed to the Rainbow Bridge. Their absence leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts, a testament to the love they brought into our lives.

T-bone is sad that he can't go out for his daily walks during this ECQ. So, to compensate we play fetch. Please play with your dog by playing fetch, running after each other, etc.
