The Icelandic Sorcery Festival will be held for the second time on the 1st - 4th May 2025. The first edition proved to be a great success, with people visiting from all over. We hope you can join!

Ticket sale opens 1st February!

The Sorcery Festival is an ambitious cultural and art festival with Old Norse culture, including witchcraft, as its main theme.

The festival programme includes talks and workshops hosted by an international group of lecturers, all experts in their fields, a tattoo expo with remarkable artists from all over, a small viking village, musicians that deliver haunting and unforgettable performances, and more.

The festival takes place in the old part of Hólmavík, a village in the Westfjords that is home to the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft and the University of Iceland Folklore Institute.
