I was contacted about these dogs, they were found and owner doesn't want back they moved. Bella and Luna
Both spayed females, sable (luna) needs to be only dog in the home, she is jealous of other dogs. Not aggressive yet but possibly when older, both are house trained. Like to escape yard so electric at bottom of fence is needed. As well as 6 foot fence. Both very nice girls. Black one, was originally taken from owner for abuse then adopted out by spca. Both are chipped, and spayed . House trained and appropriate age 1-2 yrs old.

On May 8, K9 Flexx was requested to assist officers with a foot pursuit that began following a motor vehicle stop for a stolen car. As a result, K9 Flexx had been deployed and was assisting officers with searching a heavily wooded area. After some time and continuing to stay in one area, K9 Flexx began to alert officers to one of the subjects hiding in the brush. While one subject was being taken into custody, officers discovered another hiding in the same area. Both suspects were taken into custody without further incident.

K9 Riggs did it again! Last month Riggs was awarded the K9 Valor Award by the North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA) for his heroism in apprehending a murder suspect in October of 2021. Riggs was shot in the head during this incident and made a full recovery. He is back to work with Deputy Tifft and still catching bad guys.

I want to make a post to inform everyone that as of last night K9 Rexi was retired from duty for medical reasons. Rexi will live the rest of his life with his handler and his family. We are currently in the process of replacing Rexi, so that we can continue to provide K9 service to the community.

I also want to say that our K9 program runs solely on donations and not by any tax dollars. If anyone would like to make donations to the Hartville Police K-9 Unit, you can by sending them to Village Hall (Attention: Hartville Police K9 Unit). If your not local, feel free to reach out by messenger and we can assist in making arrangements.

One on one alot today. Trying to ween. All eating pureed 4health puppy. A little milk, we take 2 at a time to mom. Teeth and nails, so our love Bailey needs help now. Yellow collar female( pure black) is few ounces smaller than the rest. She is doing excellent in testing, purple collar female (pure black) is also doing very well. Lime green collar is ver big,(out going) showing alpha. Boys red and blue collar are, outgoing, calm one on one, could be anything you want. Pink collar is outgoing and independent, very social and smart. Now they are big enough to really test and start training.
