Goodnight to this sweet little boy...came into our care over 10 years ago after being locked in a bathroom covered in fleas and muzzled so he could not chew himself bald with irritation. Sat in his own urine and faeces if not tied to the washing line inbetween time in all weather's.
He got an amazing home and his life ended with love ....so much love . God bless you little scamper. ❤️ your huge little character will never be forgotten . Thankyou Pauline Philips for the love you gave him ###xx sleep tight little boy..

Action shots of the " pony dog" 🤣🐎🐴"Harry" on today's walk.
Further into assessment we now know he is not massively high energy but likes a few" boings " a day lol. He likes to go to bed at 10pm as gets restless 🤔😴 And he is definitely a dog that needs routine , he thrives on strict routine :)
Walks fab in a halti
Travels fab in the car
Sleeps through in his crate and does not awaken early lol .
He is also living along side a cat in his foster home 🐱. What you can achieve when you give a puppy some time. 🤔

Now he is just sitting glaring at me because I took roccos Lionel the Lion teddy bear off him as it's quiet time 👀 🤣 ( I don't even allow toys indoors so god knows how that lion made it inside) 🦁

WHEN HARRY GOT LOST IN A BATH 🤔😳

So "d***y mcdope face" just had me completely baffled when I could hear him whinging but could not find him ( impossible) how can you lose a dog the size of a horse in your house?????? ( my house is big , but not that big ) after an initial panic attack ( I found him standing in my bloody dog grooming bath) 🙄.......he managed to JUMP up into it ! But could not get back down. 🤪🤯
Can I apologise now to this dogs new family ( wherever he ends up) ......he is on another planet 🌏🐕

TO ANSWER YOUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION?
Why we typically don't just list dogs on our page for rehome!
We are often asked where are the dogs? I would like to chose one?
This is because we as a rescue believe a dog is best matched by personality/ traits/ needs versus an adopters ability to match that personality or trait or meet those needs and not by looks alone! As a recent enquires said " what a good idea, after all it's not a doggy pageant"
We don't take in many dogs as there are not many of us with the experiance and hands on needed for the cases we take , but the ones we do are generally not straight forward cases and have either come to us as ( severe neglect/ abuse) cases given our veterinary background or for behavioural reasons ( given we can work through this and carry on giving support after rehome) this takes times ( alot of time) and truthfully there are only 3 of us or 4 with liz the super admin lol ( so unlike years gone by we have to know out limits ) as the till it can take on your own health along the way is and can be pretty devastating.
So please understand , we can indeed send you a pre adoption question list and if you stand out as the " prospective adopter of a dog" we may have in but has never appeared on the page you may just get very lucky.
We will of course still add dogs under assessment just to show yiubwhst goes own behind the scenes, but this is the reason we don't list dogs :)
