Project Awesome Helping People in the Spruce Grove / Stony Plain / Parkland County Area in need of pet food and supplies when they fall on hard times or are between jobs .

Providing Interim, Temporary, Pet Food Services for the greater Parkland County Region for those in need. If approved you can access assistance from us every 3 months for max 1 year. If you acquire/taken in more pets during that year you will no longer be provided free pet food. We do not provide pet food for strays. We do not provide food for rescue organizations.

UPDATE: we are SOLD out!! But, keep an eye on our Facebook/Instagram and we will notify you when/if we get more!! Thanks for all your support, we know there’s a lot of happy rescues❤️🐶

There’s still 50 or so bags left of Pedigree in the Bargain Centre at our Stony Plain location at $20/bag.

If you are with a rescue or would like to donate to a rescue you can call 780-963-2147 and speak to Wes. Please leave a voicemail if he can’t get to the phone, he will get back to you ASAP.

Remember, these are first come, first serve. No returns, no further discounts.

Sadly we will be putting Project Awesome on hold for a while.

We have no donations coming in and our shelves are basically bare. 😕

We are also being harassed by a few past individuals on a personal and professional level due to not having donations to hand out.

Sorry to all who have reached out for help lately we will not be providing this service for the foreseeable future.

With the increasing costs of, well, everything, our little local pet food bank has been seeing a large increase in requests and sadly, our shelves are pretty bare.
We have 0 cat supplies. And haven't had cat supplies for months. 😞
Our dog supplies gets restocked occassionally by 1 local beyond awesome Pet Store 😎

We assist those living within the Parkland County Regio, we help many folks for sure but see alot of seniors and families who are struggling with rising bills having to make tough choices of feeding themselves or their family pets.

In these crazy times we all need a little laughter ... And our AWESOME neighbor Nicole provided us with some belly laughs by doing this video for us. So it won't make alot of sense of you have not seen the Netflix series Tiger King .. and if you have seen it you'll be rolling on the floor laughing by now. So as Nicole / Carol Baskins here says ... We here at Project Awesome are extremely short on cat food and cat litter. So if you can donate we would ask you call one of our local supporting stores and ask to do a phone in order and then we can go pick it up from them curbside . Thank you so so much. We have alot of community members needing our pet food bank services right now and sadly we are running dangerously low on cat kibble and cat litter. Caring for Everyones Pets When They Cant

During tough times people can struggle to feed themselves and their families ... these families often include loving pets such as dogs and cats. We want to ensure every pet in these tough situations can stay in their home with their loving family and said family does not have to choose if their pet eats tonight or not. Or heaven forbid they have to perhaps rehome the pet or take it to the Humane Society or approach a rescue association. Our goal is to ensure anyone in our community who is in need of help with pet food for their dogs and cats receives it.

Please help by donating food for all life stages of dogs and cats as well as cat litter. These are essential items needed.
