A bad dog owner dumped this wolf at shelter when he got to big and to much to handle. Luckily a sanctuary took him instead and save his life. His DNA testing is come back as 87.5% grey Wolf, 8.6% siberian Husky, and 3.9 German shepherd. Don't scroll without giving us some love ❤️🐺…

They don't know how many times you pretended not to see how their hair turned whiter and whiter.
They don't know how many times you've talked to your dog, the only one who really listens.
They don't know how beautiful you were to your dog.
They don't know that only your dog knew you were in pain.
They don't know how your dog made you feel.
They don't know what it's like to see your old dog struggling to welcome you.
They don't know that when things have gone wrong, the only one who hasn't left is your dog.
They don't know that your dog has trusted you every moment of his life, even the last.
They don't know how much your dog loved you and how little it was enough to be happy because you were enough for him.
They don't know that crying for a dog is one of the most noble, meaningful, true, clean and heartfelt things you can do.
They don't know the last time you moved it with difficulty... being careful not to hurt it.
They don't know what it felt like to caress his face in the last moments of his life...

Update: Adopted!
Faustino is just a baby, and he is a very brave one at that! He came in with multiple scars on his head, chest and neck. Now a little over a month later he received some much needed medical care and looks so much better! Faustino has obviously gone through some past trauma but that didn't stop him from curling right up next to us. He looks for affection and is also very smart! He loves to show off his tricks like sit and giving paw and because he is soooo skinny- treats are just an added bonus!

Faustino is learning the world isn't a scary place! He hasn't shown to have a ton of energy yet as he is mostly sticking close to us while he takes it all in! He will get all the TLC he needs until he finds his forever home and gets a fresh start!

Meet Bella! This sweetheart is 5 years old and was surrendered to the shelter on 9/1/22 through no fault of her own. Bella used to live with kids of all ages as well as other dogs, so she would do great in a home with children and/or dogs. Bella is housetrained, crate trained, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, down/lay, come, leave it, drop it, and off. Bella's a gentle, laidback girl who enjoys some exercise but is also content to hang out in the house. This special girl is already spayed and fully vaccinated, so she is ready to find a new home!
