ATTENTION: TO ALL ADOPTERS OUT HERE WHO COME TO ADOPT THE PETS THAT ARE AVAILABLE, KINDLY READ THE FILES IN THE FILES SECTION BEFORE MAKING/POSTING/COMMENTING ON ANY ISSUES HERE AS WE HAVE TO COME TO A MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AS NOT TO BLAME ANYONE FOR ANY MISTAKES WITHOUT PRIOR C
HECKS IF YOU HAVE ADOPTED THE ANIMALS WITHOUT READING THE FILES THAT ARE PLACED THERE. PLEASE DON'T DIG YOUR OWN GRAVES WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THE PROTOCOLS SET IN THIS GROUP. We do not encourage the sale of pets and we are definitely against breeding. Opt to adopt, and save more lives. Any members found misusing this page to adopt or sell your pets for commercial benefits will be removed immediately without any warning. Legal action will be taken against the said party/parties. Alternatively, you can contact private shelters for adoption, but please, do contact them before making a trip down because they are usually short-handed and are not free to entertain people unless an appointment is made for viewing. Tip:
You are strongly encouraged to attach picture(s) of the animal (it will definitely increase chances of it being adopted), and please help potential adopters by giving a brief summary/history of the pet, medical conditions (if any), or any special needs. Please end off with a contact detail so that the potential adopters can better reach out to you. If you are sharing the post on behalf, please make sure it isn't already shared, so as to allow equal chances to all animals looking for adoption by not making the adoption ad further down. Adoption fees should not exceed $200. This is to ensure that people do not take the chance to profit from these adoption fees by adopting multiple dogs from different rescuers and "re-adopting" them out to earn that sum. Note: We are not against the idea of adopt fee, our stand is neutral because we know adoption fee might be used to cover some costs for the rehomer/shelter so as to lessen their financial burden because they usually have lots of animals to help out. A dog may be a lovely companion and will give you lots of interaction between you and him/her, but please remember to choose a pet that is most suitable for yourself. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pig, birds, hamsters and even marine pets suit different people, and homes depending on your family’s lifestyle. Please do not adopt a pet on impulse. You don't know how much trauma it is for any pet to keep changing environment and it is stressful to them to be always adjusting themselves. You are also strongly encouraged to research on your own before making the decision to add a new “member” to your family. Yes, opting to adopt is a great and noble thing, because there are not just countless of mongrels for adoption but also pedigrees, and we thank you for giving them another chance. Likewise for cats, there is a variety up for adoption too. Please think twice and discuss with your family members before making the final call. If you encounter any problems or members that violate this group's etiquette, feel free to Facebook message any of the admins and we will look further into it.
