Hello to our loyal Facebook followers. I wish I was coming to provide you all with a more positive update. At the beginning of the summer, I was told the city was moving forward and looking at possible sites. In the last week, I have been informed that the city has racked their brains and does not believe there is a site that would be suitable for a dog park.

However, PADPA does not feel like the fight for a dog park is over. It's been 12 years since I started this campaign. 6 years since the mayor said "yes". The Parmadale site is unfortunately a no go, but we still feel there are locations that will work.

HERE'S WHERE WE NEED YOU! We need the city to hear your voices! We need you to contact them and tell them that this decision is unacceptable. We are also planning a trip to a city council meeting or another event and we need people to come and show their support. Feel free to reach out with any questions or comments and we will keep you posted!

Thank you for all your support over the years, we still feel this cause it's a worthy one and one that we will continue to fight for as long as there is support.

Hello Followers! I just wanted to drop a note quickly to say a few things.
First, thank you for sticking with us through all this time. I know you all have been waiting for a dog park just like we have been.
Second, we have received word that unfortunately the Parmadale property is not going to be an option. This is due to a number of reasons. But high level, it has a very difficult infrastructure and access to the site by car will be very expensive ($3mill). So the decision had been made to not develop that land for the time being.
Lastly, there are some developments going on behind the scenes with the city and a dog park. Nothing concrete to share yet but meetings and conversations are being had and we are all hoping to provide everyone with some news and progress soon! Please stay tuned!!

Just wanted to send out a message as we've gotten a handful of new followers. We are currently waiting for West creek conservancy to finish up their projects on the potential site before we can do anything.
