Support 3 small woman-owned farms at their upcoming annual plant sale in Whatcom County!

Flynn Farms, Wildrye Farm, and Free Range Flowers have grown a range of plants, including many hard to find varieties. Mum cuttings, veggie starts, flowering perennials, herbs, annual flowers, roses, dahlia tubers and more will be available for purchase.

A custom menu of drinks and treats from Held to Hold will also be on site for sale! Grab a coffee, peruse some plants, and see a little behind the scenes of farm life at this community-centered event.

It’s Sweet Pea season! My ultra shy girl agreed to a picture today that almost burst this momma’s heart.

If you’d like to get some of the first sweet peas of the year, I will have bunches available at the this Sunday! The market moved just slightly down the street this year to the corner of Birchwood and Northwest Ave. If you are local, please consider visiting this incredible little market cooperative. 🌱Spring plant sale🌱 We are very excited to announce we will be having our 1st annual flower plant sale! 🎉 in partnership with .flowers will be offering all sorts of fun flowers and specialty plants to home gardeners. Plant starts will include: flowers, mum cuttings, specialty pumpkins, flowering shrubs, roses, dahlia tubers, and more. Join us, May 14th, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marine Park in Bellingham, WA.

Story time: Celeste (Free Range Flower Farm) and I (Wildrye Farm) both started our farms at the same time in 2015 at the incubator farm. Celeste and I have become close friends over the years and it feels like a really special moment to be joining forces to share our flowers together with all the flower lovers in our community. 💐

Wow everyone! I just wanted to say thank you so much for the unbelievable encouragement I received on my last post. I cannot believe the amount of people that have responded! I have received a flood of emails inquiring about chrysanthemum cuttings the last few days and I promise I will be sending out a big, long, information packed email to everyone on the list in the next few weeks. I am busily securing supplies, fine tuning our shipping process, taking the 1st round of cuttings, and finalizing a new mum page for my website. I cannot wait to share more. This flower community continues to fill my heart and I am so grateful for all of you near and far for all the support. ❤️

Chrysanthemum plugs. Like so many things right now, heirloom chrysanthemums are getting harder and harder to find due to supply and demand. All of the beautiful mums you see on my page come from cuttings 🌱 (clones of mother plants). This picture is from my 2018 order from Kings Mums (my very favorite place to buy from). As of right now Kings is not accepting new customers this year because they simply cannot keep up with demand. Well friends, I’m happy to say I have been working on taking the big leap this season to offer rooted cuttings both locally and for domestic shipping. I have been building my stock for years in anticipation of taking this next big step. I am just tickled to see people absolutely loving these flowers as much as I do. Today I will be starting a list for folks that are interested in purchasing cuttings. Firstly, please read: ➡️ Plugs will be offered first come first served according to emails received. I still need some time to figure out a few logistics for this task. Please understand I am a TINY farm and I will NOT be responding to emails about offerings, questions, or sending out more information for several more weeks. This is a huge step for my business and I need time to prepare for shipping dates, pricing, and available varieties. Once these details are finalized I will email everyone that’s on the list. Happy May Day everyone! Today officially kicks off tulipalozza here at our farm. We are swimming in gorgeous specialty tulips right now! Tomorrow, (Sunday May 2nd) we will be having a flower sale on mixed tulip and mixed ranunculus and tulip bunches. Pick up 1 bunch for $15 or get 2 bunches for $25! These gorgeous cosmos as well as our other heat loving annuals are finally getting sown this week. It’s our biggest seeding week of the year. We can’t wait to share even more flowers with everyone this season.
