Springer spaniel and working cocker stud dogs and the occasional litter

My picking up mate sent me these lovely photos of his litter from Spider. Mick is keeping two to add to his brilliant picking up team but there are still some looking to start their working life!

A bit of puppy spam from my friend Sally. She has a lovely mixed litter of Labrador puppies and I went to look yesterday.
Both parents are fully health tested and Mum is the loveliest natured dog.
These aren’t mine but I can pass on details.

Nobby is the best puppy minder, so patient and good natured, even when under attack!
Thanks to Jo for these photos of the gentleman in action

Missy’s pups arrived a little late on Sunday but all are doing well and growing well. We had 3 blue roan and tan boys and one blue roan bitch. Missy is being a great Mum as ever. This is her last litter

I recently caught up with an old friend from university. She now does amazing pet portraits and beautiful landscapes. Her page is Nicola Pennil Art but you can see her work below.
Nicola is offering a 10% discount for pet portrait orders made before the end of May if you quote Thorneyash. I’ll definitely be having a few done!

Weasel looking a little muddy but obviously having fun!
Pleased to say we’ve just heard he is now proven. One of my keepers is expecting a litter in a few weeks. Can’t wait to see what they produce.
