Angus is the crazy dog that started it all... He was our first dog, our first Border Collie and our first Flyball dog. He is to blame for our obsession with all things Border Collie and Flyball! When we began training for flyball back in 2004 we noticed everyone using braided fleece tug toys and thought to ourselves "we could make that!" We soon found our selves scouring the remnant sections of lo
cal fabric shops and spending hours cutting and braiding scraps of fleece into tugs. We sold them to team members at first but quickly expanded to selling them to fellow Flyballers at tournaments. We even made a few custom orders right there at the tournament venue. Before our little business could really take off we made the decision to leave Las Vegas and the US leaving behind Flyball for a few years. When we returned to the US in 2009, we quickly discovered that we no longer had a corner on the Tug Toy market, our window of opportunity had closed. Over the last few years I have started experimenting with other handmade pet products including beds and collars. Now after weighing all the pros and cons I've finally decided to start my own business creating custom designed collars and accessories and what better way to honor that crazy dog that started it all than to name our new venture after him.
