It’s been three years since I’ve given a farm update here on the business page. In some ways I can’t believe it’s been that long. In other ways, I feel like so much life has been lived in that time.
The farm is still here.
But it looks different.
I have definitely downsized. Meat birds now only happen once a year and I am looking to eliminate dairy goats. I LOVE my cows and get so anxiously excited when it is calving season. Two heifers were born here early this year. My sister and I are working on halter training them. They have such sweet personalities. One of them, most likely, will need to find a new home. If all goes as planned 🤞🏼 maybe we will have more on the ground this coming winter.
I’m still trying to figure out what direction I want to take the farm. But for now, we are still here, moving at a turtle pace, putting one foot in front of the other
