Papi’s foster mom was so happy to hear that he has found his forever family today. At today’s Petsmart Brownsville adoption event. We had 8 dog and one cat adoption today. 🎉

Bella (F, Chi, Terrier Mix, Approx 2 years old)

She is adorable inside and out. This 27 lb perfect “South Texas Mix” has as much personality as the need to please. Not cat tested. She would do best in a home without other dogs where she can be the center of attention. She does well with some, and others — needs to prove her girl-boss status! She walks well on a leash and does well with children.

Crate and potty trained, this little lady is ready to come home. Her foster says, “Bella is one of a kind. She is polite yet assertive and deserves a family that will love her for always. I can’t believe she was wandering the streets... she’s a total couch potato.” Notes:
Female, 30 lbs, tan “South Texas Breed” which we think could be chi terrier mix
Eats well – currently eating Purina One with Chicken (2 times/day, 3/4c)
Sheds a little and barks when excited – yes, she’s a dog ;)
Would be great with an active family that has children. She’s curious with cats. Potty trained in house, in crate she does have accidents. We attribute this to her proving her point – she wants to be trusted and on the couch, we just have too many to allow that.

Hey guys, these cute faces are almost ready for adoption. We’re not gonna lie we are struggling keeping up with all the expenses. From vetting to supply’s. And just when we think we got a handle on things more fur babies need help. Help us help them. Today we vetted 5 cats and tomorrow we have 10 spay/neuter appointments. Along with one dog going in for Cherry eye surgery and another with skin issues. Adoption fees barely cover the basics for an animal. Then add on heartworm treatment and other medical needs, surgerys, or medications and that adoption is long gone. If you like to help get these babies ready for their furever homes we have many ways to do so. It takes all of us to do what we do. We are so grateful for everyone who supports us and what we do.

Wow what a difference a hair cut makes! Oodle (black) & Doodle’s spa day was a success. Doodle even got a meet and greet set up while he was at the groomers. Paws crossed maybe he will have a home come tomorrow. Tomorrow is another big day for them as they go in for their spay/neuter appointments. Help us guess Margarita’s (aka Margo) breed. Cuz we are completely clueless. This small girl comes in at about 12lbs. This fun size girl is about as big as a schnauzer. She is shy at first but once she warms up to you she is super loving and just wants to be loved.
