This page aims to help Greater Dandenong residents be reunited with their lost pets faster. City of Greater Dandenong Animal Management Officers post photos of animals they find, including the location and time they were found. Page followers can also post images of their lost pets. Due to the volume of impounded cats, of which a large proportion are feral, AMO's rarely post photos of cats. This p

age is designed to assist pet owners to find their pet faster, but it is the owners responsibility to ensure their animal is microchipped, registered and safely housed to reduce the chance of escape. It does not replace the owner's responsibility to contact the pound and shelters at the earliest opportunity to try and locate their pet. Please ring the Council pound (Lost Dogs' Home) on (03) 9702 8055 or the Australian Animal Protection Society in Keysborough on 03 9798 8415. If they don't have your pet there, they'll put your pet's details on their lost and found register, so if your pet does turn up they can contact you to let you know. Keeping your pets secure and safe from cars and other animals is important and means there is less chance of them wandering off or becoming injured.
