Our Story 📖
Welcome to Dreamheart Dachshunds! We are nestled north of Pensacola Florida in a quaint town called Cantonment and we love sharing our Dachshunds and their babies!
Hello! My name is Chelsea and my family Michael & Molly. Growing up, I was raised on a farm and had cared for almost every pet a young girl could have. Animals have always been my passion. Later in life, while living in Japan, I opened Posh Paws Spaw; A pet grooming shop for the Naval Base at which we were stationed. Alongside with the grooming shop, I co-founded Cat Tales Kitten Rescue; a rescue organization provided by volunteer foster parents for abandoned and neglected kittens and cats. While being very busy and successful with the shop and rescue, I took a large interest in dog shows locally. I learned about the importance of maintaining the AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB standards, preserving bloodlines, and bettering the breed. Once we relocated to Pensacola Florida I began my own breeding program. When choosing a breed it came very easily to me. My favorite breed was the Dachshund. I had my very first dachshund when I was 4 years old. My father brought home a beautiful, tiny puppy. She was a smooth red. We named her Jackie. For years Jackie and I were the best of friends. She played with me in the meadow after school, and even before school would attempt to aboard my school bus. This miniature Dachshund was the best dog I had ever owned. Full of love and cuddles but also very cautious and protective of me. She made the most excellent family companion. So there really wasn't any other choice of breed except the Dachshund. I wanted my daughter to experience the joy and love of a Dachshund.I firmly believe the Dachshund is the perfect family companion. Following my love for the Dachshund breed, I became captivated by the creams. I quickly decided that our specialty would be Longhaired Cream Dachshunds.
Bringing healthy, beautiful and luxurious AKC Cream Dachshund puppies into the world is my pride and joy. All of our puppies are raised with love and care from the very minute they are born. Each parent has a clean health history, beautiful conformation as expected for the Dachshund breed, and a caring and kind temperament. We are here to give endless amounts of information and support for you and your puppy. The smiles on families faces when they meet their puppy for the first time is magical. Bringing these precious cream Dachshund puppies into the world is my passion and I hope to continue to make dreams come true one puppy at a time.
