Jude's been so happy to jump these past few months. I thought we were going to move towards more flat work and dressage in his older age but he said no.
Now I just need to work on myself in the ring.
This is the only way to take care of a birds nest in an indoor, and wash really tall mirrors. Thanks Gabby for not dropping me! These girls never know what's on my agenda around here 😆
Light easy exercises for Gwen. She's making a lot of progress this year and filled out so much!! Can't wait to see where this mare goes in the future.
Don't be fooled Gwen, Lexi's only being nice to use you as a scratching post.
Of course I have to post the winning jump from last week. I got a little left behind on the landing when I should've stuck to him a bit better, but Jude always takes care of his rider and he felt great. I noticed he wouldn't pick up his left lead on the approach as the heights went up. I was doing everything to ask for the left but he just wouldn't so I took it as "he's trying to tell me something". After we cleared the jump he'd land on the left, so that just confirmed he was making his own decisions. 😄 I know this horse like the back of my hand and he always chooses the safest route for us. Thank you Jude 💙
