Full disclosure: I can’t math 🤣
Flip turned *10* 😱 last week so the girls and I threw him a party! Pateley didn’t understand the purpose of a piñata 🪅 but luckily we have two more Clydesdale birthdays to celebrate this year so she should get plenty of practice in the future! 😆

So glad the vet cleared Penny to try some Bute, an anti-inflammatory medication, for her trims!

With Penny’s history of liver disease we have to be diligent about what medications she is allowed. Her levels and overall wellness now allow some trial with bute to help her stand more easily for her pedicures.

Penny, Flip, and Pateley sure get some hoof-steps in every day around the farm and as they say, “Motion is Lotion!”

Correct motion with this fresh trim will ultimately help her whole body health!

I released Flip, Penny, and Pateley from their barn this morning to discover the weatherman used w***y inches again in his forecast 🙄🤣

This was probably the last blast of snow for the season but I’m also probably going to miss it next time I slip and fall in the mud 😂

Dipping down to 12F and a windchill of -8F tonight after 5 inches of snow! Flip and his girls are ready with some creative extra blanketing, and always have access to shelter, hay, and warm water to stay healthy in these bitter temps! People who winter in Florida may be on to something… 🤔😆
