I know it's been a while since I posted on here! There is a reason, but let me get to the UPS issue we are having. If any of you small businesses are using UPS to mail your product, MAKE SURE THAT YOU WATCH YOUR INVOICES FROM UPS!!!!
We have just noticed MANY occurrences that I would consider fraud with UPS.
As you all know, we are a small company that sells the Raptor Mod that has items that go with the wheel. 90% of our shipments weigh less than 4 pounds. This is not a new item, as we have made this for over 12 years, so we KNOW what these weigh. Even the Stainless Steel track wheel weighs less than 4 pounds!
UPS has decided to start charging us 12 pounds PER BOX for one wheel! Of course, Shipping.com did not let us know that UPS was charging us more for each box. We happened to find out when DAVID saw an extra charge on his PayPal account. I contacted Shipping.com and had them send me a detailed listing of all charges from Jan of this year to current. Most of our UPS shipments have been upcharged to the 12-pound amount!
Of course, you can NEVER speak with a real person at UPS, only the AI, and they NEVER get it right. They finally say they will have a person contact you with no follow-through.
I finally found a number that you can speak with a live person, and I will be calling them tomorrow! We will be reimbursed, or we will be filing for a class action lawsuit against UPS.
