This is devastating 💔 if anyone can do anything to help I’m sure it would be appreciated 💚🐰

This morning we received a call to say around 100 rabbits have been dumped in the woods in Chaddersly Corbet and luckily 56 were caught and secured in a lovely couples shed.

We have taken in 16 males and 40 females who we suspect are pregnant and they are all in a bad way. We are a small rescue run from Heathers home by a small team of 4 of us.

All of these rabbits at a minimum will need neutering/spaying and vaccinating.

We will do a more in-depth post later for now we are focusing on the bunnies and trying to work out a plan.

We have updated our wish list with things that can help and I have put our PayPal details below if anyone can donate to our foreseeable vet bill.

We hope everyone enjoys bonfire night tonight, however we wanted to spread a really important message! 🎆

Please only build bonfires on the day of the bonfire and please check them before you light them! Wildlife, especially hedgehogs often shelter in bonfires and can suffer serious or fatal injuries if they are sheltering at the time the bonfire is lit. 💔🔥

If you do find an injured animal please get them straight to the vets for help. 🦔

Owning a chinchilla is a rewarding experience, but it comes with its own set of unique needs. Here are the top 5 tips to ensure your furry friend is happy and healthy:

1. **Proper Housing** 🏡: Ensure your chinchilla has a spacious, multi-level cage with plenty of room to jump and play. Wire cages with solid flooring are ideal!

2. **Temperature Control** ❄️: Keep your chinchilla cool! These little guys are sensitive to heat, so maintain a temperature below 75°F (24°C) and provide plenty of ventilation.
