We had this sweet little girl in the van recently. She was allowed to get in this condition by her previous owner but now is in a fantastic home with her rescuer.
Her condition is totally avoidable. She was so patient pain stakingly having the shell on matted fur removed. Underneath her skin was sore and red after the weeks and months of being wrapped up.
Please if you choose to get a dog, realise the undertaking. These breeds require 6-8 weekly grooms.
It should never get this bad... this is Neglect and Abuse!
