Just an update for all of our Rock City Rescue followers. We are now partnered with the CHENAL Hollywood Feed, not Cantrell

The Round Up program helped us sustain ourselves and not constantly ask for money. Getting more people to round up at Chenal should help us survive for most of the year. And if they forget, you can always ask to round up for Rock City. The employees at this store are so kind and helpful.

Celebrating Thanksgiving early! November will be the start of our 14th year of service for our Little Rock clinic and we want to celebrate! Any adult dog registered for our wellness clinics will get a 4DX test (heartworms and tickborne diseases, a $30 value) for the same price as a regular heartworm test.

We will have two Pet Wellness clinics for November on Thursday, November 7th with Amy Hawley, DVM and Thursday, November 21st with Paul Seminara, DVM!

Keep your pets healthy, happy and HOME! Cats/Kittens and Dogs/Puppies are welcome. (For the safety of others, NO Aggressive Dogs, please! Cats Must come in carriers.)

Scheduling does require a $15 deposit which is applied towards your pet's services. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if you do not give 48 hours notice of cancellation so another family has a chance to have an appointment.

Pet Wellness Clinics are more comprehensive care clinics to provide packages including wellness checks, basic vaccinations, testing and prevention for your pet and start from $35 for babies and cats to $55 for adult dogs. Additional vaccinations and services such as microchipping and products for heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention can be added at check-in. These are NOT appointments for spay/neuter.

I hate to make this post, but things are getting to a point of desperation. Between the cost of food and a few sick fosters, money is running out more quickly for the animals remaining in our care than I expected at the time of closing intake a few years ago.

We currently have 8 dogs/cats, who will be in our care forever, and the 11 posted for adoption, who will be with us until they are adopted who still need food, litter, and occasional vetting. The food and litter alone costs ~$500/mo and we won’t last through the end of the year with those amounts.

We haven’t asked for donations in almost 2 years, but we desperately need them now!

Any donation is appreciated and helpful and we are a 501c3, so they are tax-deductible!
