1 year old ♥️Lady Pele♥️ has beaten the nasty kennel cough and will be officially looking for a forever family of her very own! She is very young and has lots of playful energy but nothing over the top. A fenced yard would be ideal but we would consider a family that walks often as well. Lady loves her excursions out and about on leash. She’s a tiny lass, weighing only 17 pounds.
She has been spayed, microchipped, brought current on all vaccines. She’s heartworm negative and has no parasites. We think she would prefer a home as an only dog but it would likely depend on the personalities involved. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to intermingle with others during her foster stay because kennel cough is very contagious and we have had to protect the resident dogs.
She is still a pup so potty reminders throughout the day are a must to continue our house training efforts. She has done super well with that.
The hunt is on for the perfect match!🐾🐾♥️🐾🐾
*No small children in the home or small children visiting regularly.
**We think she would do best as an only pet or one of two. Multiple pets in the home may be a bit too chaotic for Lady.

The TRUTH is, that all of the “STUFF” here on earth we work SO hard to buy and accumulate..does NOT mean a thing. At the end of the day...people will be cleaning out our "STUFF", going thru our "STUFF", figuring out what to do with all of our "STUFF"....this "STUFF" we've accumulated in our life. The only thing of VALUE that remains are the MEMORIES and what we deposit into others. May we all learn to spend less time accumulating "STUFF" and spend way more time making MEMORIES.

Sadly, yesterday we said goodbye to our special and sweet boy Bentley. He was loved so much and we already miss him dearly.
He fought the fight with TCC bladder cancer for a year and a half, but it just got too much for him and us to bear anymore.
He taught us a lot about strength and courage and patience. He was definitely a legend for those who knew him. Sometimes friendly, sometimes not so much....what ever way he felt that day, he did not pretend. He had a huge bark that sounded like a dog 3 times his size. He was my constant companion and most best friend I ever had. Always there to listen and give love. He was sometimes a bit of a curmedgeon. On our walks, he trained us....yes he was walking us not the other way around. He loved our family "group hugs" when John got home from work....jumping on the couch and growling as if to say...."you guys get over here"! We have so many happy memories and joy that he brought into our lives and he will be loved forever....until we meet again

So Bentley had his oncology appointment today and ultrasound and his tumor in his bladder is shrinking the oncologist was very excited. Please continue to pray for our little boy. We are happy that he is doing well and pretty much not having side effects from the medication thank you all for your care and support

Bentley’s first follow up oncologist appt today after beginning targeted chemo therapy drug... so far so good no real side effects bloodwork and urine all good thank you all for prayers🙏We will recheck in a couple weeks and do an ultra sound to see how the mass is either the same or shrinking hopefully

So we Started our targeted therapy for Bentley’s transitional cell carcinoma in his bladder yesterday. Hopefully it stabilizes and shrinks his tumor that has not metastasized ...and he’s not feeling sick. he really was not even symptomatic so hopefully we got it in the beginning and he may be able to live with it for a while. Hope the medication doesn’t make him feel sick prayers for our boy please🙏🙏🙏
