Busting out a new trick at our last surf competition to pay homage to our fellow retired surf dog team Homer and . We have looked up to these 2 legends of the surf dog community since we started surfing 8 years ago. Y’all are awesome 😊💙🐕🐾🏄🏻‍♂️🌊

We had had so much fun at our final surf competition on Sunday. Thank you to everyone who came out to see us and all the other surf dogs having fun out on the waves. We will post more videos and pics later. Also thank you to the Helen Woodward Animal Center and all the volunteers who made The 19th Annual Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon a great event.

Derby got 2nd 🥈 in his weight class and 3rd 🥉 tandem dog/human.
What a great run it has been. You’ll still find us surfing from time to time. See y’all out on the waves. 🤙🏼 🌊 🐕 🏄🏻‍♂️

This Sunday The Helen Woodward Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon at Del Mar Dog Beach 8am-2pm. This is our last and final competition then we will retire from competitions. We love this event so much and can’t wait to see y’all this Sunday 😊💙🐕🐾🌊

Great little piece about our retirement from dog surfing competitions from this past weekend at the World Dog Surfing Competition in Pacifica, CA. cried just a little. We got 2nd 🥈 place in human/dog tandem. More videos to come.😊💙🐾🐕🏄🏻‍♂️🌊

I got Derby 11 years ago this day. Who would have thought that would be the day that I rescued him and he would go on to rescue me and our lives would be changed forever. We are so grateful for the people we have met around the world and can’t wait to meet more in the future. We look forward to many more years of adventures together. Love ya brother and happy 12th birthday.
