Powder - Available for Adoption

Powder was adopted from our sanctuary in 2021 as a kitten. Through no fault of his own, he has found himself looking for a new family. Powder is super friendly and loves following people around. He would probably do well with other cats with a slow introduction.

Powder’s DOB is 5/10/21. Please message us if you are interested in meeting Powder. He is neutered and will be updated in his vaccines.

Public Vet will be in Rochester on Saturday, April 5!

They are a mobile spay/neuter clinic for CATS & KITTENS! Vaccines can be done the same time as spay/neuter appointments.

It is $100 per cat with financial assistance available to those who qualify! (Follow the link on sign up to see if you qualify.)

This is open to anyone, from any county!

Foster Needed

We are seeking a foster for two spicy (aka feral) kittens. These two cuties will need a lot of patience and understanding. They are not used to being around humans.

Cinnamon and Cricket will have all supplies provided, and we will support you through your foster journey. What we require from you is your space, time, and dedication. You will need a separate, quiet room to keep Cinnamon and Cricket. At first, you will let them adjust to their new surroundings and then start sitting in the room with them. For example, you can read a book or scroll on your phone. You are just getting them used to you being around in a quiet setting. After this, you’ll start gently talking to them and slowly interacting. You want to associate humans with good things like toys and treats.

If this sounds like something you’d be able to commit to, please let us know. The timeline will vary based on their progress. We are looking for someone to try their best to socialize these kittens.

***Final Update - we got her inside! She’s cozy and eating some wet food. Thank you to everyone for keeping an eye out for her!

***Update - we have spotted Montana hanging around our buildings. She hasn’t come to us yet but we will continue to try to trap her. She has heated shelters available to her.

Sandy - Available for Adoption at Playful Paws

Sandy is a bit shy around new people, but she has made huge strides at the shelter with our volunteers! She used to hide but now she begs for pets and attention. Sandy is such a sweet girl.

Roxy and Maya are such great cats! These sisters are big, sweet, and friendly. They love attention and love to explore. These girls need to be the only cats in their future forever home. They will also need to be adopted together as they are a bonded pair.

Peanut is a super sweet guy! His nickname at the sanctuary is Uncle Peanut because he just loves kittens. He's taken on the role to help raise a few. He groomed them and taught them everything there is to know about being a cat. He is a little hesitant at first with new people, but once he gets to know you, he is super social!

Barn Cats Available for Adoption at Playful Paws

We have two cats - Gunner and Gigi who would do best as barn cats. They are semi-feral. They get very stressed at our sanctuary when visitors come. We’d love to find them a permanent barn home.

We do require them to have a shelter that is heated during the winter. We would also require that you provide them food and water every day.

Frankie loves to play! He is always playing with some of our other adobtable cats or with toys. He is a bit shy but loves attention once he gets to know you. Frankie is a special needs kitty. He has an eye condition that requires L-Lysine chews/treats every day which he happily takes.

Milan is a Senior Citizen and is seeking like companionship. If you're in your Golden Years and seeking a loving companion, Mila has a sweet, mild personality, and will be a very devoted friend.

Mila was surrendered to Playful Paws by her original owner because they were unwilling to treat her for an infection which has subsequently been completely cured. Montana is a gorgeous girl who is a bit shy. She picks who her humans are, so don't be offended if she doesn't warm up to you right away. Montana was abandoned at an apartment complex with her brother, Cole, when her owners moved away. (Cole has been adopted.)
