Franklin. 💛 The puppies have really grown into their own. While Franklin started out as the instigator, he’s really become the lover of the two. He barks to get your attention and has fully realized his power in ringing the bell we have on the doors to go outside 😀 His brother bullies him some, but he holds his own. Now, if only we could get them to sleep in a little in the mornings. 💛

At 10, Dublyn is starting to show her age. She used to want to be outside as long as we would allow her to be. Now, she enjoys the comfort of the A/C while looking out at her domain. I think Franklin and Henry have wore her out. I don’t mind the more docile Dublyn though. 💛

If you know anything about us, you know that Copper is usually right by my side. It’s been interesting introducing the puppies as they don’t quite understand personal space yet. This typically means they take Copper’s “spot”. But, in this case, Henry just decided to lay on Copper and surprisingly, Copper allowed it. 💛🐶🐶💛

My loving sidekick turns 9 today! He still likes to sit at the dinner table with us, sleeps near our pillows, his auto immune disease is under control due to meds and he’s starting to tolerate the puppies. 💛💛💛

What’s better than bringing home one puppy? Two puppies! Meet Henry and Franklin! 🐶🐶
We only intended to get one puppy, but fell in love with Franklin and knew we had to bring him home too.
Franklin is two weeks older than Henry and was the only one to survive in his litter. They have the same dad but Franklin’s mom is Henry’s grandma 🤯
Copper could care less but Dublyn is ready to play! 🤣🥰

Our frog friend comes by every night to eat, and Dubs loves watching him. She’s feeling MUCH better! I’d say she’s back to her normal self. 🙏

We are currently remodeling our upstairs guest bathroom but Dubs decided to push her way in to rest. 🚿🔨👷🏼🐶

Dublyn has a hot spot on her chest and as much as we try to get her to leave it alone, either she scratches it or Copper licks it. I’ve treated it this morning and am hoping my t-shirt will keep the scratches and licks away.
