I have been putting off writing this post because I've not been able to come up with words that describe just how much I love our new look and how much I appreciate all the hard work that went into creating it!

With help from the AMAZING ALT Art & Design we were able to upgrade the current logo by tying in several new ideas while still preserving pieces of the original logo; which was very important since it was sketched specifically for me by a good friend!

The entire process was easy and practically effortless, which was a huge relief! I had been dreading trying to figure out what my next steps would be to improve my logo with the ideas I had! Amber was quick with her delivery of test ideas, digital updates, and she didn't bat an eye at the multitude of minor fixes and changes I requested! She even went as far as adding a personal touch to it, the hands in the logo are a digital replica of my own hands!

I think a common problem in the horse world is the normalization of poor movement patterns as a breed standard. I hear often, regarding the movement of a breed like an arabian, Dutch harness horse or Iberian as an example, “that’s just how they move! They’re flashy movers.” The problem is that people often mistake tension for flashy movement, and are studying the wrong movement model.

Just because these horses often are tense, does not mean it is correct for them to move in tension.

Certainly every horse will have their own unique balance, and require feel and mental flexibility from a rider developing them. It’s essential to not apply a cookie cutter model of movement to different horses.

However, if you understand the principles of good movement and can adjust your eye to different horse’s movement, you can see that all horses, regardless of breed, can move in balance, without tension in their backs.

Some might require a lot more elbow grease and time than others, and a smarter approach. But fluidity of movement and sound biomechanics is possible with every horse.

⬇️We have a few announcements for the new year ⬇️

💥 Beginning January 15th, 2022 there will be a price increase for equine massage sessions. The rate will increase from $45 to $55 per horse.

💥 Our milage policy will also be changing and will be posted once it is finalized.

💥 We are excited to announce the addition of chair massages! This will be available to barns and horse owners in the area in the style of a group sign up sheet for a specific day and time.
