Welcome Back to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Ruby!

Ruby is a gentle, fun and loving companion who adores spending time with her people. She’s especially great with children and has a sweet, cuddly nature that makes her the perfect snuggle buddy for movie nights on the couch.

Ruby is house-trained and knows her basic commands, making her a well-mannered addition to any home. She also walks nicely on a leash, making walks together enjoyable.

Ruby will thrive best as an only dog or with another dog her size or larger. She prefers slow introductions to other dogs but once she gets to know them, she plays beautifully and enjoys their company.

Tiffany has been through a lot in her young life, but her spirit is as bright as ever. This lively, affectionate girl came to us as a puppy and spent nine months waiting for her perfect match. She finally found love with a wonderful man who adored her, and they had a few happy months together. Tragically, Tiffany’s adopter passed away unexpectedly, and she's been back with us ever since, patiently waiting to find a new forever home.

Tiffany is house trained and crate trained, an active and adventurous soul who lives for the outdoors! She would thrive in a home where she can go on hikes, runs, and another other adventures you can dream up. She's good with other dogs who can keep up with her zest for play, and she'd love an active family who wants to include her in every adventure.

In memory of Tiffany’s adopter, who not only loved her dearly but also had a big heart for all rescue dogs, her adoption fee has been waived. If you’re ready for a loyal companion and adventure buddy, Tiffany is waiting with open paws. 🐾

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Shiloh!

Shiloh is at the very beginning of his journey to a furever home. The beginning of his story (of what we know) began when he was dumped on a property alongside three other puppies down south. Two didn’t survive, but Shiloh and his sister Grace are both safe, with the promise of a bright future.

This gorgeous boy is rather timid right now and still learning to trust new experiences and people. He has been busy observing human interaction rather than engaging, but follows the routine of the pack he is in foster with nicely.

Shiloh is scared of being on leash right now but we have no doubt he can overcome this. He prefers to keep his crate clean, but is not yet fully potty trained. Shiloh is a generally quiet boy and does take treats nicely. Shiloh does prefer to eat alone, which helps him to eat without worry.

⭐️ Shiloh’s bio will be updated as he progresses with milestones in his journey.

At this point, Shiloh needs the following type of adopter/furever home/environment:

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Hilda!

This girl … ♥️ Hilda arrived to our rescue a week ago and has been busy making fast friends with the other dogs she is in foster with, playing in the snow (and lovin’ it) and becoming a snuggle extraordinaire.

There is something so very beautiful about her spirit. Hilda has moments of shyness when experiencing new things that she very quickly overcomes. She has an equally amazing playful yet snuggly side and really loves to soak up attention. This girl is gonna be a fantastic companion.

Hilda is doing great with crate training, following a new routine and while she is still potty training she is well on her way. She loves the teenagers in her foster home. Hilda has been a quick learner and is eager to please.

Hilda is being fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pa and will be ready to head to her furever home on or after 2/1/2025.

Jasper is an easygoing guy who enjoys some time outside using his hound dog nose, then he's happy to snooze in a dog bed when he's done.

He is a big boy, so we think there is something bigger mixed with beagle in his ancestry. Jasper is quiet, especially for a beagle!

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Lilah!

Lilah is a petite little beagle mix who came into the shelter with an injured eye at very end of 2024. She had the eye removed and recovered well before making her way to PA on 1/18. She doesn't let having one eye slow her down!

Lilah is the sweetest little lovebug, curious about her surroundings but much more interested in snuggling up with you. She did very well overnight in the crate with just a little vocalizing upon immediately going in, but settled well as soon as all lights were out.

She's not quite fully house-trained but is working hard at it! She's working on basic commands and is extremely treat motivated so we know ongoing training will be a breeze.

Darla is a really sweet little girl who loves to play with her toys and other dogs. While she has a playful side, she also likes to snuggle with her person on the couch just as much.

Darla is great when crated and is working hard on potty training.
