In a final push to support the dogs in our rescue, we are hosting a last-minute Donation Raffle. These stunning items would be a beautiful holiday addition to your home, a wonderful gift for family and friends, or a lovely hostess gift. Each snowflake measures 28 inches in diameter. We appreciate the generous re-donation of the beautiful porch planter by a loyal supporter who won two planters in our previous raffle, and the donation of the wooden dog plaques by a friend of our rescue. To participate, simply make a donation of $5 for one entry, $10 for five entries, or $20 for ten entries, and you will be entered for a chance to win one of these beautiful items. All donations will go directly towards providing essential food and medical care for the dogs in our rescue.
E-transfer donations to [email protected] or [email protected]. Please include your phone number with e-transfer. Pick up available in Windsor, Wheatley, Lakeshore, Tilbury and Essex.

Come support a cause! Stop in at Pawpular Paws between 9am and 3pm on Saturday December 14th for your pets Christmas portrait! With a $20 donation to the BBB Canine Rescue & Transport , you will receive two pictures of your pet with two different holiday displays. This event will be put on by the rescue happening Saturday only, inside Pawpular Paws!

WE ARE BACK FOR PHOTOS! It's time to spread love and ignite your holiday spirit, wear your Santa hat, put on your elf shoes and get into the ho ho jolly mood! Bring your dogs to Pawpular Paws located at 535 Notre Dame St in Belle River on Dec 14th between 9 am and 3 pm for joyful holiday photos that will bring cheer to your heart. Each $20 donation guarantees you one picture of your dog in each of the two photo scenes. Our photographer often gets snap happy and takes more! Choose from Every Pet is a Gift and Santapaws. Photos will be sent via email on Sunday Dec. 15th. Come out and support the dogs in our rescue who need your help. We hope to see you there!

Oh happy pawdoption day & happy December!
It's offical - Santa came early with the best gift and girl ever and I have pawdopted my new best friend and furever love Roma now loved as Mona!
It's me Bowie and a month ago I was so very down and out at loosing my best friend Freeman as were my humans - we were all very sad with his loss. But now! I am so happy and lucky to have found this special girl and life couldn't be better! As you can see we are the bestest of friends and absolutely adore each other -. we are just the most pawfect match.
I am so very thankful to the good folks here at BBB and their shelter partner for finding me this pawfect mate and sweetest of girls and of course my family for opening their hearts and home to another deserving rescue dog.

It's with much sadness but also grateful hearts for the wonderful last few years he lived that we share the passing of one of our much loved BBB family - our handsome, sweet Freeman.
Freeman and his family were a testament to the extraordinary love and devotion an older dog has to give and also of the love, care and acceptence his family unconditionally gave and shared with him in his twilight years.
We are forever grateful to Amanda, Rob & family for opening their hearts and home to him to give him a full, rich, wonderful life in his senior years.
Following are a few words from his family.
The most spectacular dog in the world has crossed over into heaven.
Freeman came to us almost four years ago at nine years of age and he immediately became our stinky prince.
Freeman opened up our eyes to pure, unconditional love and how to live in the moment. We miss his crazy butt wiggles, his deep loving eyes and exuberant happy dancing feet so much. We filled up his bucket list with a forest walk, hamburger, pup cup, a turkey dinner and all the snuggles he could handle.
Our thanks to his original family for doing what was right by him, his foster mom Teresa for knowing what a great fit he would be, Jo-Anne for all the guidance, and the rest of the BBB team. We are so grateful for the four years we had with him… if it was 104 years with him, it would still never be enough. "

Our heartfelt thanks & appreciation today to our very kind supporters who gave their support to our dear old soul Scooby!
For those of you unfamiliar with Scooby - Scooby came to us 2 years ago at the very senior age of 15 years as yet another abandoned senior through human circumstance and no fault of his own. Due to concerns on his diagnostics at the time we chose to keep Scooby in our fospice program and provide for his needs as best as we were able.
Scooby remains a very happy and very fit-for-his-age fellow despite some typical old age concerns. A couple of months ago he received a much needed dental to alleviate his pain and prevent further health complications as a result of some very bad teeth.
He is truly a gem of an old gent and we can't thank you enough for your kind and generous support which enables us to continue to provide for him.
