The count down is well and truly on now with nominations closed and only till our QOTT CCI ODE! There is still a bit to get done but we are gearing up and excited to welcome riders back to FTPEC. Not only that but we’re keen to see what changes Ewan Kellett and Greg Auer have in store for our competitors, with 14 brand new jumps headed out onto the course 🙌🏻

This year’s event will be held over two days on Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 September. Proudly sponsored by Queensland Off The Track the event has a special additional prize pool of $2400 for competitors on OTT horses in all levels💰💰💰

The FTPEC cross country course is currently still open to members and for bookings but will CLOSE to ALL RIDERS this coming Friday 5 September at 5pm in preparation for the event.

FTPEC Organising Committee look forward to welcoming competitors and spectators alike to our wonderful grounds in less than 3 weeks time.

As we count down the days … gearing up for our final ODE of 2025 we’d like to take a moment to thank our hardworking club volunteers. Some live local and some come from far and wide to help us maintain our beautiful grounds and run our events throughout the year 🫶🏻

Many hands might light work and all support is appreciated. There will be a working bee on grounds Sunday 14/09/25, preparing our grounds and course for the competition 🪣🪏

Sign Up will be used to help coordinate our volunteer effort for the CCI event. Link included in the comments below. You can also DM the club if you’re available to help out at specific times and not sure what job suits best 💬 📱

This is your chance to learn from a world-class rider and coach and ride with confidence going into competition.

Run an event in winter they said, it’ll be dry they said. ☔️🫣 It’s with great disappointment that Fig Tree Pocket Equestrian Club (courtesy of yesterday afternoons downpour) have decided to cancel the Winter Weekend of Showjumping competition.

With 30mm falling rapidly yesterday afternoon and more forecast we wish to prioritise rider safety and our grounds (particularly our warm up) are currently in no shape to welcome competitors this weekend. 🫠

A huge thank you to our showjumping convenor Caiti Rosengren and event secretary Sarah Pearce for putting in a huge effort prior to this event being washed out. We’re also extremely grateful for our event sponsors , MGT Construction (Ring 1) and the Swim Academy (Ring 2) for their generous support of the weekend.

We appreciate there may be some disappointment from riders and we hope to bring you another showjumping event soon. Meanwhile we hope everybody is staying as warm and dry as possible in this far less than desirable winter weather for QLD horse owners.

We are watching the weather (👀)🤞but so far so good and we are excited to welcome riders to our Winter Weekend of Showjumping competition in a few days time🐴
