Sharing this so you can be on the look out people.
Hey everyone. Just wanted to update you all as we found a tick on our girl yesterday, took her to the vet and sent it off to be tested, it came back with Lyme Disease. Thankfully we found it quickly, but it was embedded. We do have to get Jade tested in 4 weeks to see if it transferred it.
Jade has only been in our backyard when she got it.
Take care of fur babies and check them thoroughly.

Why did the town pay hundreds of thousand of dollars for bike paths when no one will use them’?I am fed up having people expect me to clear a path for them. According to the bylaw People have the right of way first last and always. People over the age of 14 are not supposed to ride on the sidewalks period. The town needs to run an educational program for bike riders. The next bone of contention is the speed the the electric bikes use on the wide paths, it’s scary. Sometimes they are travelling faster than the road traffic. What the heck, if they can go that fast they should be on the road . Subject to all the rules of the road.
