The common otocinclus is one of the best algae eaters for aquariums. They don't get very big, around 1.5" with some large individuals up to 2". We recommend keeping a minimum of 3, with 6+ being ideal. The internet often suggests these are finicky and picky eaters and will starve without algae. We do not experience this problem. Any quality algae sinking food will make these guys happy after they have cleaned your tank! Send us a message today if you would like to add some to your tank! Shipping to all 50 US States and Puerto Rico.
