Trainer error on environment setup. I left my treat pouch on the floor because my dog usually doesn't touch anything that isn't his. However, I fail to remember that because he is on a kidney special diet so he is craving for protein more than ever. While I was working on a summary for a client, I heard some crunching noise. I turned around and saw my dog helping himself to some #ZiwiPeak dog food that I used as training treats. Lesson learned: never assume your dog would maintain his best behavior while he is aging and his medical condition changes. Note to self: put all protein treats out of reach and completely secured from my little fluff from now on. #trainererror #blooper #dogtraining #k9learning #dogsofinstagram #poodlemix #poodlex
