Dogs epitomize the essence of unconditional love, offering a companionship that is both steadfast and unwavering. From the exuberant wag of their tails when you walk through the door to their quiet, comforting presence during moments of sadness, dogs demonstrate a level of loyalty and affection that transcends any circumstance. Their love does not falter in the face of human imperfections; instead, it flourishes with every shared experience, whether it’s a simple walk in the park or a quiet evening at home.

We must have the courage to change. Without self reflection, our dogs do not have the ability to work now with the idea of success later. As a parent, it’s important to have the self-discipline to help them with this. We need to find the courage to find long term success and at times that may mean sacrificing short term happiness. It’s not a necessary trade off but sometimes it’s indeed a necessity. Sometimes it means taking your time, sometimes it means staying composed, and most times it means staying the course. Find the strength and discipline to help your loved ones through difficult times. A reminder for my clients

Dogs love consistency. It’s how they learn their world and how to act in it. It’s also a big reason why they can struggle because they’re so used to repeating the behavior when placed in the same situations over and over again. The key difference lies in ourselves and how we manage the expectation with these said situations.

If we can learn to communicate properly with our dog, we can then slow down the process and efficiently move forward with a true understanding of what we expect in that situation. With repetition and consistency, we can then transform how our dog views that situation and solidify the understanding of doing it the right way.

We, the human, are the change.

Let’s get better at that! Dogs make bad decision without strong leadership. Stop letting your dog run away or react to everything around the home. This video will go over how I use place training to build trust when stressful things are happening around the home.

✅ practice place training EVERYDAY
✅ keep things SIMPLE to start and then progress from there
✅ for vacuums, try vacuuming around without it being on so the dog can understand it easier without the loud sound
✅ reward patience and impulse control

This is such a good exercise to build trust with your dog. Use it to your benefit and have fun with it!

Fun times with my Lady 💃🏽

This video goes over how I work with back of the pack dogs with anxiety. It’s all about slow and steady. Simplify EVERYTHING and be super efficient with the ways you communicate with your dog. Baby voice and affection will NOT get you past this. Dogs with anxiety need STRONG pack leaders. Practice for 10-15 minutes a session and end on a good note

Remember to keep your head up and know this is a long term process. Stay confident out there!

Boundaries and limitations are a must inside your home. Have your dog look for guidance before moving forward. First master “sit” and then start giving impulse training. Once the expectation is given exercise it daily and make it part of the routine. Your dog will appreciate this! EASY PEASY 🐾
